Actually looking forward to this and looking forward to the next Keynote. One of my kids is looking for a new phone and hes not bothered about tech specs like a lot of kids. But am pretty sure this little phone will pack a punch for its predicted price.

The iPhone 8 opened up at 699.00, so, an 8 with a current processor and an extra gig of RAM for 399.00 would be a bargain in my book.

So much so that I’ll probably upgrade my 8, if it turns out to be true.

All this new iPhone needs is sustainability with what you mentioned with the processor/RAM, _and_ a smaller form factor with an attractive price point. Those are the three main ingredients that will sell this phone, plus, of course Apples marketing will come in a play how that all naturally works itself out.

These rumors never discuss the camera except to say it’s a single lens. Is it the standard camera from the 11?

From what I’ve seen, it will be the same camera as the iPhone 8, but I hope that’s incorrect, and it comes with a somewhat better lens.

I’m expecting $399 for 64GB base model, as for higher storage tiers I’m not sure honestly. Could be 449/128 or 499/256.

I don’t think there’s any chance of 32GB model as the last one of these was released in 2016. Seems unrealistic they will go back to that ancient storage tier.

Overall, considering the extremely dated design from 2014, this product must compensate with top of the line specs to be attractive to a reasonably wide demographic of buyers in 2020 through 2022. Marketing and sales teams will have to work hard to bring the point home to the customers. A13, fully geared iPhone 11’s main camera and at least 3GB of RAM are a must. Other than that, some battery life improvements and perhaps “one more thing” they’ll throw in on top.

Very much looking forward to the keynote.

- iPhone XR is no longer is offered in 256GB. So, I don't think the SE2 will come in 256GB.
- iPhone 8 starts at 64GB. The SE2 is expected to replace the iPhone 8.

Logically, the SE2 will come in 64GB and 128GB variants.

In terms of the camera, I would expect the XR rear-lens.
