Exactly. Remember the nano chromatic iPods? Didn't they come in like 6 or 7 different colors?

Yep. Not everything Jobs did was or allowed to happen right, you just listed one example.

----------

This is something you wear, there is no one size fits all. There are 3 watches and the rest are high margin bands.

As for too may SKUs, Jobs did the iMac in 5 colors and iPods in many colors.
Yep you proved Jobs did make mistakes as well.

There's nothing wrong in taking some time to minimize making mistakes. Jobs had his share of poor decisions.

I will say that there has been a lack of defining products from apple. While the Mac Pro has been a innovative product, Cook promised this year (as he had last year) that there was some great products coming. With 2015 drawing to a close (from a retail perspective) its now getting too late to see some of those great products he's been promising us since 2013.

I have a feeling that the Apple watch was supposed to come out in time for Christmas. And between that and the broadwell delay for the new Air's, well, that's the "new stuff for this year".

Well.....

you have to aknowledge that Mr . Jobs and Mr. Cook are two very different type of leaders.....

Jobs: Intuitive, marketing genius, micromanager, visionary, appasionate

Cook: man to manage day to day operations, logistics wiz man, more loose on decision-making regarding products....

Mr. Cook has already recognized that Mr. Jobs spirit and ideas will remain the fundation to Apple, almost forever (or by a great lenght of time....:D....)

Mr. Cook will let a heritage on Apple. But then, what happen to the rumor saying "Steve let us 5 years of products in the pipeline...."....

It is difficult to make "the next big thing". But Mr. Cook can achieve a personal touch on Apple image, doing some things like making Apple hardware more affordable without losing quality. Or a more powerful mini (with separated GPU). Or a medium market nMP.....

Dell still owns the enterprise market. It's all I see governments and companies buying.

Apple needs to either put more effort into their computer business or get out of it all together. If they are going to be a mobile company fine, don't string around the computer customers by throwing them a bone every few years.

The city of Round Rock, TX is literally crapping itself because Dell is laying off people and trying to sell their campus buildings.
