Hmm that's odd, it was a bit hit and miss but eventually a 2nd TimeMachine appeared and connected. Persevere that may be your only hope mount the shares play about with them then open time machine and fail to connect to the MyCloud that's there and upon one of those failiures a 2nd one eventually appears.

Been backing up perfectly for a week or so now touch wood.

No second TM machine appeared for me even after mounting and viewing files. Tried a variety of things.

Not sure why this issue hasn't been resolved in recent betas.

When you mounted the shares how did you go about it? Did you do it from finder or from the WD apps?

Mounted them in finder, i don't have the WD apps.

Also has the latest beta fixed this yet? I'm not gonna risk disconnecting and trying again as mine is backing up well at this point, however if you are still having this issue then hopefully they might fix it soon.
