That's really more of a personal decision as it's different for different people. Is it finally time to update my Iphone 7 to 11.1 from 10.3.3 or ios 10 is still better than 11?
Cheers
Yes but from your point of view, is ios 11.1 as good as ios 10.3.3 in terms of battery and speed? That's really more of a personal decision as it's different for different people.
"Speed" has been fine for me even before 11.1 as I've been on iOS 11 from the day it was publicly released. But that's me (and various others), while there are some others who don't share that view/experience, which doesn't really say much as far as what my experience is like. As far as the battery goes, having 11.1 installed for less than two hours so far, there's not much that I could say about it one way or another.Yes but from your point of view, is ios 11.1 as good as ios 10.3.3 in terms of battery and speed?
Thanks, I guess I will update tonight, kinda bored with ios 10"Speed" has been fine for me even before 11.1 as I've been on iOS 11 from the day it was publicly released. Read up some more threads and reviews if you haven't already. Keep in mind that 32-bit apps won't work with iOS 11. Also see what's new in iOS 11 to see if your boredom would be affected by it (if that's really the only or the main reason for updating). Thanks, I guess I will update tonight, kinda bored with ios 10
Which might or might not necessarily be something that the OP will experience (or care about even if experienced). That's why a good part of it is more of a personal thing that differs for different people with different devices. Also your home button will be slower on iOS 11.
Well that could be a problem if I notice it, just hope it isn't that badAlso your home button will be slower on iOS 11.

Remember there is no going back. I hope it doesn't drive you nuts! It's keeping me on 10.3.3 with my 7.Well that could be a problem if I notice it, just hope it isn't that bad
I quite liked 11 for control centre etc but regret going to 11.1 so soon
I am downloading now. They say it's not that bad, really hope I won't notice it, otherwise It could be weird to adapt to lag.Remember there is no going back. I hope it doesn't drive you nuts! It's keeping me on 10.3.3 with my 7.
You might want to check out how many of your apps will not work on iOS 11
On your iPhone or iPad go to Settings > General > About, and then click Applications in the list for non compatible apps.
You can decide if these "not compatible apps" are important - if they are important you might want to hold off on the update
If nothing happens when you tap Applications it means all of your apps are compatible with iOS 11.Why's that, because of home button lag?

It won't let me see my apps, don't know why, but I guess all important will work
ios 10 was never better, not even better than ios9.Is it finally time to update my Iphone 7 to 11.1 from 10.3.3 or ios 10 is still better than 11?

Thanks on reply, I updated, so far so good, every single app is working. If nothing happens when you tap Applications it means all of your apps are compatible with iOS 11.
It worked good for me, I just don't like this new notification center and that I lost date and clock on today pane, that sucks.ios 10 was never better, not even better than ios9.

I haven't tried 11.1 on my two iPads, but 11.0 and 11.0.x were not good experiences. Runs nicely on my iphone 7, however.
Home button delay doesn't bother you huh? That's good if it doesn't. Some day I will have to deal with it too if I upgrade.
11.1’s speed reminds me of 10.3.3. I had laggy scrolling on 11.0-11.0.3 on my iPhone 8+. It made my 6s+ noticeably slower as well, but I traded that to get my 8+. That said, battery life was always really great on 11.0. Maybe there will be an improvement on 11.1? I’m happy with iOS 11, definitely now with 11.1.
