Tips on how to buy an iPad faster - given limited stock / availability

I've been checking the Best Buy site very often the last few days and none have come in to my local Best Buy. It reminds me of about 10 years ago when the PlayStation 2s were sold out and I was always checking the Best Buy site trying to snag one via online order. I was eventually able to do so and it was actually a fun experience. Hopefully this will turn out the same.

Same here re: checking BB every day. Even after I got one yesterday, I was still looking today (for 3G versions, heh).

Definitely fun to do the deal/treasure hunting thing.

Thanks for the tips, they would only be helpful for me if we had a Best Buy that had the Apple products. My only mode of getting my 16GB WiFi iPad will be via Apple.com. I should be ordering my iPad today or early tomorrow from Apple, hope it gets to my house quickly.
