How does it work under Boot Camp/Windows?
No middle mouse button. I use a cad application where I have been using the press and hold of the middle button for years to rotate my models on the screen. Because the MM doesn't have a middle button, I have to use a regular mouse while using that cad program.
Is it possible to add a driver or something to add that middle button?

Edit: didn't see the 2nd page of the thread.

It is good for flick scrolling and clicking. I think the gestures are worthless. If you put tracking sensitivity all the way up then you can get around the 27" screen ok, if you do it fast enough. The problem i have when gesturing is it knocks my mouse around (when swiping sideways) and is definitely fatiguing. Probably not worth the money to buy, but good to use if you have it, and I just won't use the gestures. I'm sure software updates will resolve the tracking and improve the number of gestures.

Shame there's no middle button - really is, as I use it all the time on the web (and in Maya).

Seriously, go download the BetterTouchTool, gives you the middle click via three finger tap or click (or whatever you want to assign to it). It works very well. I have it set to 2 finger swipe up and down activates Expose for me. Very nice addition to the MagicMouse!

The scrolling feature - the way it handles acceleration and what not - works better than any scroll wheel or scroll ball I have used in the past.

Have you tried using it on Google maps? Does anyone have a good way to handle that? It registers as a flick way too often and one flick will zoom me out to looking at earth from the moon. Then I try to scroll back in and I'm an ant on the sidewalk...

Ive tried it with Google Earth and thought it was pretty good. But I agree with you regarding google maps. It should only zoom one level at a time.

Google Maps was like that with the Mighty Mouse too if I recall. I don't know of a fix, but a workaround is to use the zoom control in the top left of the map.
