I have seen lots of posts lately about people complaining about the size of their screen. The 4.7 is too small. The 5.5 is too big.

The complaints I've seen are that both iPhone 6 and 6+ are too big, and I agree with that. 5S is about the right compromise of screen size and one-handed usability.

Are there any Android phones that have flagship-level performance and features in a size closer to the 5S? I see the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact mentioned as a good "small" Android phone, but it doesn't appear to be that much smaller than the iPhone 6.

Screen size the compact is only .1" smaller than iphone 6, however it's physical dimensions are much closer to the iPhone 5s, and with onscreen buttons usable screen estate feels similar too. It's a good compromise.

I think if Apple implemented one handed keyboard mode, there would be less of an issue.

Of course for you.

Using the keyboard one-handed on my iPhone 6 isn't so much a problem for me. I can reach all the keys, though I can't type as fast as on a 5S -- might be a matter of practice or it could be more distance to travel slows me down, only had it for a few weeks now so time will tell.

But reaching actions in opposite top corners of the screen is impossible without repositioning the phone in my hand (and then I can't reach the home button and have to move it back).

I think 5.1 is a good size. It's easy to hold in one hand but has a nice sized screen for consuming content.

You should try reachability for the top corners.

I think 4.7-5.1 is the sweet spot for a phone. 5.5-5.7 for a Phablet.

Still can't see myself owning a Touchwiz device though. Saw the review of the Note 4 recently. Waaaaay too much going on.

I had the Galaxy S4 after 2 months with the iPhone 5. Although i liked that phone at the time, I would NEVER go back to Samsung. I used it a good year before getting an HTC One M8 and eventually you just start realizing that nothing compares to Apple's physical and software combo. Im happy with my iPhone 6 and iOS 8, since they added Quick Reply and custom keyboards. Just miss the IR Blaster when im too lazy to get the Direct TV or A/C remote.

Nexus. Nuff said.

Love my 6 Plus! Wouldn't trade it for a Samsung ever! I think the OP should be posting this crap on a Android forum.

In fact I compared my 6 Plus to my sons S5 and it looked much nicer when looking at websites. He switched sides before the new releases by the way!

*an Android forum :)

Wow, somebody mentions "Samsung" and you all get so mad. Take it easy folks.

Thats the idea on paper.

Sometimes though, you start wonder if its really just two sides of the same coin.

The evangelism of an ideology.

...and the priest.

I think you misunderstand religion. For there to be religion. There must be a God. Since we don't believe in God. There can be no religion.

What you linked to get s a movement. Much like feminism.

Boom. We don't believe in fairy tales. Science also proves this and science is not a belief.

( I have a feeling this is going into PRSI very soon...)

Anyway, this isn't a PRSI sub-forum.

How is science a belief though? Science is real. God can't be proved.

Not really.

Its merely the pursuit of an interest with devotion (with or without a god).

But as daneoni said its not a PRSI forum so i shall leave it there. Ignore my original post.
