Sorry to have to point out the obvious, but the iPad is simply fun to use. And I use it all the time.

Yes it is, despite being noticeably slower than my iPhone 4 in pretty much every way. And don't get me started on the resolution...

Anyway, iPad 2 should bring it more in line (though perhaps not resolution-wise).

If you've better results with your phone, use the phone then. This is a no-brainer, IMO. If you're not happy with it, sell it. It's obvious that not everyone who has both phone and pad have the same opinion, though.

Right, i have both and I'm actually finding the iPad faster than my iPhone 4.
Its maybe because of different OS's though(3.2.1 vs .4.1)
 
While I can do almost anything I want to in the iPad, on those occasions when I can't (primarily when I use Quicken and want to check the web for my bills at the same time), I just use Logmein to connect to my regular computer. The advantage is that I can do this while sitting on the couch.
