Humm that went right over my head. Need to check and see what MP51 is. lol
Catalina is not officially supported on MacPro5,1 but should run if you add -no_compat_check to the boot arguments.

You obviously need to first boot using an older supported Mac OS version to add to the boot arguments. You can do this with the following Terminal command: sudo nvram boot-args="-no_compat_check $(nvram boot-args 2>/dev/null | cut -f 2-)"

Where do yall learn all this stuff to post into Terminal? I would be afraid I would mess something up and my mac would never run again. I went on vacation once and went by MIT but didn't go in. LOL

Used doss dude to download Catalina. Does it always scroll all that information really fast before it will boot or
did I do something wrong?

Ok took the plunge and flashed my 4,1 to 5,1. Was a little difficult but after getting the error messages, I just
put both of the downloads on my desktop and opened them. Finally it worked. The woman on youtube said a cheap
Nvidia Geforce GT710 2GB card would satisfy Apple metal card. It works perfect with a boot screen and everything.
One problem it will download Mojave but it only does it on one of my 4 hard drives. The others kept High Sierra.
You can't just stick them in the ol cloner box because they have that container disk and I don't think it gets copied.
So all in all I will probably figure out how to go back to High Sierra with no problems and rid my computer of this
goofy Mojave that I can't see is a bit better.
