My TB is dead... It went through several boots and blank screens after the update and now won't even boot... SMH!

Called the Apple store and they don't have any Space Gray TB available.. They have Silver if I want to exchange for it..

Well that's disheartening! I am amazed there aren't more posts about this on here by now...

I'm not not chillaxed. Don't quit your day job and try to become a professional internet comment interpreter. You'd starve to death mate. LOL, ridiculous.
You are one overly hostile dude.. Relax...

I need to decide if I want a silver TB, return for a refund and order (wait, wait, wait) or exchange it for a nTB base Space gray they have in stock..

Not sure what went wrong but it's dead...

Anyone have suggestions to force it to boot?

Really? Cringe worthy contribution my friend.

Back to the thread. I'm going to install tomorrow - I'll report back with my findings. I'm indifferent to the removal of the battery estimate as it was too erratic anyway.

I think you shouldn't let glitches force you away from the colour of MBP you actually want. Of course if you now realise you prefer the silver then go for it.

Why are you overreacting?

I got what you were saying... Keyboard commandos = WTF

It won't even boot... Turns on then immediately back off... I really do not want silver.

^^ sucks.

Installed on mine and seems to be ok. Haven't noticed anything new yet (with deference to the release notes).

Updated fine - I even did the download over satellite instead of waiting to do it tomorrow on fast internet. took 20 minutes to download and 30 minutes to install after that. Haven't seen any changes yet. Haven't had that many glitches so it will take awhile to see what the improvements are.

as for battery, they removed the time remaining estimate.
however it's still available via istat-menus.

I checked power consumption, don't notice any major difference, so I guess the battery life should be on par.
ps. I get ~8 hours of battery life during my usage.

Highly unlikely for a Mac to be unrecoverable from a software thing (as opposed to an Apple Watch for example).

Have you tried Internet Recovery?

If I could get it to boot I'd try but as soon as it powers on, it turns back off.. Letting it sit and charge for now..

I installed the update. Before the update the only issue I was having was the login screen glitch caused by FileVault. After updating that glitch is gone. I just read about the Siri and graphics card switching glitch and I see that I have that. Hopefully they fix that too soon.
