Today's OS Update

I am facing an issue now. Using VLC, Safari open in background. After 40 or so minutes, dock is unresponsive, the downloads folder fan does not open, Finder does not work, and after a while I essentially have to restart as the entire GUI save the mouse arrow freezes. Wonder what's up. MBP 13 TB.

Try resetting the SMC.

Took it to the Apple Store and they were able to revive it.. So far appears to be rockin' along just fine.
