Just picked up the GOTY edition which is $9.99, regular is $6.67 for next 24 hours. It's a steal! This game was retailing for $50 just a couple weeks ago.

It runs okay with default settings (1280x800 all defaults set by Feral) on my 2013 MacBook Air i7, 8 GB, HD 5000. I get 23.1 FPS in their test from the main menu. So far I enjoyed the first 4% of the game. I need to read the manual about when things save though.

Bummer, just bought it like a couple of hours before the sale for £14.99 :(. Oh well, still a good game worth the money so far! Really recommend it!

Only major downside so far is that it doesn't recognize my game pad even though I just have a generic USB one.

email Feral support, we support 150 pads and have a plugin system to add any rare pads we don't have setup yet.

Do we know if all the add-ons in the GOTY version work in OSX? I'm about to pull the trigger, and this will help me decide which way to go.

OMG! What an amazing looking and playing game! I'm just finished with Bioshock Infinite, so this will be a great experience to jump to.

In the benchmark demo, I get an average of 55fps with default settings. Late 2012 21.5" iMac with GeForce 650M here.

That's my iMac you talkin' about! y u steel my mac!

Hehe. Good to know this game will play nicely on my iMac 21.5" late-2012, GeForce 650M, quad-core i7, SSD, and maxed our 16GB ram.

I highly recommend grabbing it. It goes on sale pretty often. I would say it's the most underrated game of last year (which was a great gaming year, so not surprising).

Yeah I just finished beating it (at 68%). It was a good game - stellar graphics, cool story, and completely bug free port in my experience playing. The performance wasn't great on my 2013 Air but it was basically playable. My only critiques of it are that it's a bit too gory - really we don't need the thrown around corpses and decaying flesh in every single tomb.

So, what you're saying is, if I'm hearing you right, is that they wasted their time on TressFX....:)

They added the TressFX graphics option in the Mac version? That's great!!! I think that's what makes this game beautiful. Nice price too... I bought it for $12 last year during one of the steam sales. After playing it... it would have been worth paying $50.

No, no, no.

Sorry to get your hopes up.

No Tressfx for Mac.

I just picked it up on Steam for $4.99. :) As of this time it's showing 11 hours left on sale... First look, cinematics are incredibly good, lots of motion capture and great environment. I'm finding the movement a little awkward but I'm adjusting to it.

Thanks for calling this out....just had to go and pick this up myself :D

Graphics and environment are excellent in this game... Overall enjoyable update of the TR franchise. One thing annoys me and I hate having to repeat a sequence over and over until I figure out what has to be done. It does not happen for every fight, but when it does happen, it tends to take the immersion out of it. For those who have played this game, I'm thinking of the wolf's den which took my about ten tries to kill that damn wolf. ADADADFEEEEFFFF or something like that. ;) The game throws up key hints, but sometimes it's what's that- "E", too late I'm dead, lol. It's a great feeling when you can get through a fight on one attempt. This game has no save slots, it just auto saves to recent progress.
