You ready? Apple music is meh meh, i hope they polish it in ios9 since it could be good.

1. Forced into it. You start the app in "for you". The last tab is your own music. Should be the other way around.

2. No way to see what you own and what is from apple music. Correct me if im wrong.
This is annoying because after cancellation you suddenly lose those songs. We want to know wich ones.

3. No way to see when uploading your own library is done and what the progress is.

4. No way to save radio stations. I must manually search them everytime i want to listen to a radio station. I can share the radio with friends but not save/fav it myself. Wtf?

5. A handful of genres to search in. No dubstep, no chillout....just to name some i listen to. I understand there are alot sub-genres but come on....

6. Not a real family plan. I have a brother who is interested but then all our stuff is shared and one of us has to suddenly be the guy who pays for apps/music etc. Waaaaay too confusing and annoying.

7. More then half of my music wont copy to the cloud. i have waited 30 minutes and not a single song was uploaded to the cloud anymore. Not having more then 1500 songs, thats stopid.

8. Playlists with apple music in it wont sync to other devices for some reason. Need to remake the playlist myself and add the apple music to it.

9. Cant copy playlists or music offline from itunes when apple music is enabled. Normally should not be a problem but because more then half my songs are not in the cloud, i miss half my songs on 1 of my iDevices.

10. Low bit rate songs will not upload to the music cloud. from PC/itunes anyway.

11. Apple music does not reconise alot remixes by not known users. Thus it replaces it by its original when downloading from the cloud. i see no way to correct this mistake exept for re-adding the file in itunes with different artist names etc.

What can i say, add your complaint here and lets hope apple makes it more polished in ios9.

EDIT: Fixed:
8. Syncing playlists is now working.
3. Now showing progress of uploading your library.
7. Fixed. everything is uploaded over the night.

Only issue I have is with the Family Plan... There's not a tutorial on how to configure users to Apple Music.

I mean, there's the general Family Plan.. But in regards to Apple Music family plan I was under the impression each user can configure their musical selection to their liking. But I'm having a tough time setting it up..

I find the music style to fit me quite well after some likes and initial setup- and im VERY picky. I have 1137 songs in my library since i was a kid until now-25 years. Already found 3 new songs i like.

I added your complaint about the family plan to my list since its very annoying indeed.

Apple Music catered for people who listen to trash like Taylor Swift no wonder iTunes Match no longer works she is a Malware.

Don't think that's the purpose of the family plan. The idea is you have one or two adult "parents" that sign the family up, then their children fall under their umbrella, and the main adult on the account has their purchases go against their card. Not so that a bunch of friends can get together and just chip in ~$3/mo but all have separate accounts.

I have the family plan and mot having issues, and I also don't listen to Taylor swift either. So far I like it and might keep it too, and drop iTunes Match. I like that I added some more music to listen too, try more stuff, and see where it goes.

Is the 'Repeat' button gone in 8.4 Music from music album? I don't find it. It used to be Repeat one or Repeat all... Help please, I need it!

Never mind. I found it.

If I understand correctly, the family plan is currently irrelevant as for the time being, the subscription is free. I expect the kinks to be worked out by the time Apple starts charging people.

I don't think Family Plan is currently irrelevant at all. I would like to begin evaluating the family plan deployment across my devices and users prior to dropping my current streaming subscription from another provider. As such, when starting the trial period, I selected Family Plan.

As an aside, if I told you who my current streaming subscription was with, you'd get off my lawn on your own! :D

I wish it would tell me when I'm adding a song that is already in my playlist. I loved this on Spotify, because sometimes I try to add a song I think I don't have in my playlist so Spotify would let me know! Apple Music just keep adding so I end up with duplicates in my playlist.

Also, I don't know if it's just me and I'm doing this wrong or if its a glitch, but when I'm on itunes trying to add songs to my playlist, when I click on the song it doesn't give me an option to add to my playlist, I have to go into the album and then add it! it's very annoying.

Maybe I just expected more from Apple, but I am very disappointed, I feel like the last couple iOS updates have been very glitchy and now Apple Music since to me like it was not completely finished! I know its a big update and nothing is perfect, but this is missing too much, and its way too glitchy

I cannot reproduce that. When in iTunes, in Songs, I have three ways of adding a song to a playlist:
  1. Right-click the song, select Add to Playlist
  2. Click the three little dots, click Add to
  3. Drag the song, a playlist panel will pop over on the left
What have you been trying?

If you add Apple Music songs to your library their kind will show as "Apple Music AAC audio file". You can enable the kind column in Song view and sort by kind to see what you're gonna lose of you don't pay up ;)

When adding songs for offline use -

If you add a single track, you get a little cell phone logo next to the track - presumably to let you know it's saved locally.

If you save songs for offline use via any other method (doing whole artists/albums at a time, etc), you do not get this logo next to the songs.

To me - that's counterintuitive and doesn't help us at all.

They should have put an iTunes BUY button next to each song, that would help the artists sell their songs and would help users who are still buying music.
Isn't there a button with the price already there? I see it when listening to radio.

Because 15 hours after launch the service is functional. and not updatable. Geez people just live to complain on the internet. Not directed at you only just many of the posters on Macrumors these days. "I'm so disappointed in Apple" every time someone posts that an intern dematerializes at Apple.

complaint added that local songs wont upload to the cloud.

This is one big miserable service that needs improvement FAST.

Complaints for me are:
  • Overwhelming feature set. New section alone has 15 subsections! Makes discovery difficult when there are so many different choices.
  • Playlists spread out over multiple sections
  • Small UI touch targets
  • The bottom of the app with the mini player and section icons should adjust to match the UI colors of the top half. If the top half is black and gold the bottom 1/4 shouldn't be white and fuchsia.
  • No way to import playlists from Spotify, Rdio etc. Makes it difficult to get an accurate For You section if most of the music you listen to is not on iTunes.
  • For You should be recommending stuff you don't already have. Currently for me most of its recommendations are albums already in My Music. And since I've been a Spotify user most of the stuff in iTunes is old stuff I haven't listened to in s long time.
  • Ability to dislike something. Outside of the initial bubbles setup there doesn't seem to be any way to dislike anything.
  • Better social integration; easily share playlists with others and see what friends are listening to. I would like to see curation from more than just Apple approved tastemakers.
