Thanks rogifan, good points.

i also added a complaint again. the playlist that i have on iphone and PC, wont now go to my ipad. (the one that has apple music in it) i have to remake it on ipad.

LOL i just restarted my ipad air 2, and the music app asked me to sign in....what? why? Anyway i did, and now ALL my playlists are gone. Music is still on the device but playlists are not. No playlists at ALL will sync. nothing syncs.

I have apple devices etc because it works. Apple's quality control is going down. ALOT.

complaint 10: low bit rate songs will not upload from PC to icloud music.

10 bugs that mess with the workings of the style of apple that something works.

We use one computer with all our music on it. It has my Apple ID on if, but I wish my wife could have hers also and use it as a "family" iTunes. I think it would be nice with the family Apple Music.

I think most if not all the complaints have already been covered. I'll just quote the ones I agree with and want changed. Something nobody's mentioned yet is:

1) No easy way to jump to an arists' page or an album from a song's "three dot" menu button.

2) Speaking of which, the three dot menu is just a cluttered list of standard iOS confirmation buttons. Looks like something I put together in some of my first mobile apps HAHA! What a shame, the list should have at least been compressed somehow and glyphs added for each selection.

You ready? Apple music is meh meh, i hope they polish it in ios9 since it could be good.

1. Forced into it. You start the app in "for you". The last tab is your own music. Should be the other way around.

4. No way to save radio stations. I must manually search them everytime i want to listen to a radio station. I can share the radio with friends but not save/fav it myself. Wtf?

5. A handful of genres to search in. No dubstep, no chillout....just to name some i listen to. I understand there are alot sub-genres but come on....

Complaints for me are:
  • Overwhelming feature set. New section alone has 15 subsections! Makes discovery difficult when there are so many different choices.
  • Playlists spread out over multiple sections
  • Small UI touch targets
  • The bottom of the app with the mini player and section icons should adjust to match the UI colors of the top half. If the top half is black and gold the bottom 1/4 shouldn't be white and fuchsia.
  • No way to import playlists from Spotify, Rdio etc. Makes it difficult to get an accurate For You section if most of the music you listen to is not on iTunes.
  • For You should be recommending stuff you don't already have. Currently for me most of its recommendations are albums already in My Music. And since I've been a Spotify user most of the stuff in iTunes is old stuff I haven't listened to in s long time.
  • Ability to dislike something. Outside of the initial bubbles setup there doesn't seem to be any way to dislike anything.
  • Better social integration; easily share playlists with others and see what friends are listening to. I would like to see curation from more than just Apple approved tastemakers.

All of this.

Yeah, hard to imagine a company who once valued a clean and minimalist UI released something like this.

Ditto.

Just noticed -

When you go to an artist's 'info page' where it gives their background and similar artists - the similar artists are shown in circles that look like buttons - however, they are NOT clickable - didn't expect that.

It would be nice to click between artists you listen to and ones similar to them to discover music - not to have to search each individual artist you might want to check out.

There's absolutely no consistency with different machines. I would try to build up a listing of tracks I "love," which would be fed into a Smart Playlist. I thought on my second try with a Windows 7 machine everything would go fine, and it did. Then out of nowhere I was told that I had to sign in to Apple Music to play or add a track. I logged in, and then all of my Apple music tracks disappeared on that machine. I noticed this was going on at the same time it tried to review all tracks with iCloud. Meanwhile on my iPad Mini, it's seeing the same playlists but with the tracks I had before they disappeared. I figured the Windows machine I was using before hand had some sort of login issue, but no matter how many times I log back in or restart iTunes the smart playlist is empty, there's absolutely no recognition about adding tracks to "My Music," and I don't even have full functionality.

I can't tell if this is an iCloud issue or what the hell it is.

It seems out of nowwhere did all my songs are now in the cloud. Happened overnight from my idevice i guess. I have to test on pc when im back from work to see if it really fixed Itself. That would be great.
I fixed the syncing issue by signing out of apple music on pc and ipad and re-signing in.

For me, the absolute WORST part about it is this:

I would think it works like that: I go to iTunes Store (section should be renamed to "itunes music" or something, search for whatever I please, and can just start playing.

But no, in the store, i still get the old 1:30 preview length songs. So then, I need to go to "for you" or to "new" or "My music" and manually type in whatever precisely I'm looking for, no way to discover it through a genre/artist list or something. I can only access the to be streamed music via the search field in these two categories, but not in the store.

Another issue: Whenever I press "start new radio station based on song" in itunes, just nothing will happen.
It works on the phone.

Sync issues as well - like always.

Overall, I agree, it's just the interface that is really making things crazy confusing for no reason.
And itunes lacks some good electronic music :/ Why do they not even have a category "house" or "techno". cmon, these are not subgenres!!!

1. Purely aesthetic complaint. I'm sure someone will release a jailbreak tweak so you can customize the tabs soon enough though.

2. Yes you can. Hit the 'Albums' text in My Music and check 'Show Music Available Offline'.

4. I can add and save just fine, on iTunes at least.

5. Yeah, this is a problem for people who enjoy those sub-genres.

6. Well, the $14.99 plan is there. Just do it manually and split the money between both of you, with one of you responsible for paying monthly.

9. This is what iCloud Music Library is for, so you can access music on all your devices without the need to sync.

10. There is absolutely no reason to have low bitrate songs in your library, unless they are mono tracks from old recorded music.

Can't you just go new -> search michael jackson -> click michael jackson under artist -> tap first song and then choose shuffle?
Yes. It appears that Razeus was attempting to find the most convoluted way to do something that is actually pretty simple. Congrats, Razeus, you really Rube Goldberg'd the heck out of it. In the future, just do exactly what you'd do in Spotify.

It's funny you think that was my photo. Nope it's not.

Just an FYI.. Apple has updated its iBook guides for iOS 8 to include changes in iOS 8.4... Including a whole big section on Apple Music and the new Music App. I read it myself and I strongly feel it may be helpful to a LOT of people out there. If anything at least you have a reference to how it's really SUPPOSED to work so that you know if what your experiencing is a bug or really how it's supposed to work.

Just got my new update with the new music app. Biggest immediate complaint: I would always go to "Songs" and right at the top there was the "Shuffle" button, which would start playing my random music from anywhere on my list. Now its gone!! Last thing I want to do is have to hit A.D.I.D.A.S. and then immediately hit next after I make sure the shuffle button is on. Anyone know of another option or if I am just missing it??

Complaints of this magnitude happen with EVERY apple release on MacRumors. I used to think it was just one product but then the same thing kept happening over and over again and I learned that it generally isn't anything with Apple. It's just MR people find the bugs right away. Apple is probably going through these forums and making a note of these bugs to fix.
