Wish I had as many Macs as some of you guys do ... but I give them to my family when I get new ones. Nothing like a free computer to help increase Apple marketshare.

The second of two truckloads of about 50 Macs. Performa 5200/5270/5400s that I traded in at CompUSA for $70 each a few years ago. It is how I financed my first Mac and a few iPods as well as a lot of other goodies.

I cleaned out a school in Minnesota and got all 100 for less than $20 in total. Rented a truck for $200 twice and got well over $that in gift cards for my trouble.

To DISCOMUNICATION:
It's actually a Commodore 1084S Video Moniter (& people hate the name MacBook Pro...I myself don't like the dell XS234234 SP PRO i2x Graphics tower with windows XP 20006 pro office edition plus bonus spyware...i happen to like MacBook Pro with Mac OS X.) I'm using it for my N64, I like it...very vintage-ish. haha, but I can use it as a TV or hook it up to a VCR.

I like how Markkk owns a mighty mouse, but is using the Apple Pro mouse from his iMac on his MBP.

The mighy mouse got on my nerves because I had to lift my finger to right click..I might as well lift my finger to the keyboard & click the damn thing instead of using that stupid mouse. Plus it doesn't match. I'm a clean/match freak. Besides laundry-doing. haha :)

So, you got a green iMac, and then you painted the walls green to match the iMac. Of course, when you got an iPod mini it had to be green too, to match everything else. You didn't like the hocket puck mouse that came with the iMac (who did?) so you got an Apple pro mouse. Since it was black, you needed a black mouse pad, and of course the furniture would also fit in the black theme. Now, of course, with the aluminium MacBook Pro you have to use a green and black desktop picture to make it match both your green stuff and your black equipment. :p Nice. :D

The iMac came with the Pro mouse, and the Pro keyboard...but my dad spilt tea on it as well as the Puck mouse that I had from...IDK where. haha. I got this whole clean & matching thing from my mom...& idk how....because I'm nothing like her otherwise...haha. glad you figured out my matching scheme

Here's my meagre collection:
My 7500, unused due to lack of space. But it only has 3 apps on it.
(The monitor is in a different room.)

The G4 Quicksilver:

My PowerBooks (5300, G3, G4):

Sadly it looks like the 5300 has lost the use of its screen. The power light comes on but the screen stays dark :(

My iMac 350 is still with my parents who are about to get a Mac Mini, so I may have it back soon. The wife says different though...(one of them has to go!)

I know someone would say that you can't get enough Macs, but this is getting embarrassing.
tooManyMacs.jpg

I think I have to hide the MacBook and the PowerBook before the cleaning lady comes on Thursday. (The monitor for the Mac mini is on another table.)

Anyone else think they have too many Macs? Lets see pics.

Im about to have the exact same setup, and i feel like i have too many. Currently just a iBook 1.42 w/gig of ram and iMac Rev.b 2.0 ghz w/2gigs of ram. Tom ill have teerex52's 1.5 12"PB i just purchased so im getting rid of my iBook and then i will be getting a MacBook Pro in about 3 weeks. (2.0 GHZ w/ 2 gigs of ram). I think im gonna hold off on any more Macs considering i have apple care on all of them so that will help me out till the rev b. mac pro's when ever they come out. Needless to say im very satisfied with all my macs. ;) and when it comes to iPods that another story i dont even know why i own 4 of them.

You guys make me sad. All I have is a little 12" Powerbook. Not that I mind I love it to death but I have got a long way to go to catch up. I am hoping to add another Mac later this year or early next.

Many more, just don't have pictures of them :)
Do you have like an overall picture of the room where you keep these? It'd be interesting to see how they all fit together, much less fit in the room. :)

Wouldn't that be funny if your boss came in and saw you taking a pic of your laptop on the ground in the middle of the server room?

I like the way you think! :D

I justify a lot of purchases with the same logic... sometimes i can be such an impulse buyer... it's cool.. i like it... im taking it home...
Reminds me of one product guide from early 2001:
"iMac - If you need a small computer that'll do basic stuff that you need it to do (internet, wordprocessing, etc), then this is for you
PowerMac - If you want more power and expandability than the iMac, get this
PowerMac Cube - This is for people who, upon seeing it, immediatly got out their wallets"

:D

or you could spread your pointer and middle like a peace sign when griping the mighty mouse no lifting of a finger there unless you wanna use the scroll ball or do the app switcher.
