I'm pretty sure its all the industries that Samsung is in that made them big.
I don't recall Apple making TVs, kitchen appliances, construction equipment, medical machinery, Artillary systems like Samsung do.
As for the website design, does Apple have a patent on having a large picture of your new products as the centre of the page that I'm unaware of?
That's because Apple is a company that SPECIALIZES in tech, computers, phones, tablets. They focus on specific products (most specifically their iPhone), which is why they're on top in the smartphone sector. Samsung produces overpriced over saturated overrated toys. I'll admit the S6 is a step ahead for them, but up until now their designs were sh_t, the UI is sh_t, they have 6000 different tablets and smartphones and most of them except one or two are just ok.
This is an argument that neither side will win, ultimately it does come down to how you view companies and how you view innovation and in general what your preference is. I run iOS and Android platforms, my Nexus 7 tablet and my iPhone 6. I have extensive hands on use with plenty of Samsung products (more so tablets), the Tab Pro 8.4, the Tab S 8.4, Tab 4 10.1, Galaxy S4. Their products do work and have cool little features and gimmicks that I never found myself using, but overall it wasnt a pleasant experience. The Tab Pro 8.4 I had was equipped with a Snapdragon 800 at 2.3ghz with 2gb and it still hiccuped on the home screens and app drawer transitions. The Tab S had a Enynos octacore at 1.9ghz with 3gb of RAM and it still would hiccup in the same areas.
Samsung needs to catch up software wise. End of story. Products are no good with shotty software. You want a good Android experience, there are plenty BETTER choices.
