The related joke question is, with all the colors in the rainbow to choose from... and a usually silver apple logo of their own... why does Apple use Samsung blue & white shirts in their stores??

There should be an injunction against Samsung for using blue and having a shopping cart.

I know this is a joke, but still... it's a bad comparison joke or not. Blue is a simple color, there aren't many to choose from. With design, there are limitless possibilities. Blue is also a safe color, especially if you're looking for a matching color. It's inviting and softer and clean. Plus haven't they been wearing blue for years? I know some used to wear black, some wore blue and now they changed to all blue, but still.

Also, the Samsung logo has had tons of variations and changes over the years (what company hasnt) but Apple has had one :apple: Let's face it guys, Samsung is the jack of all trades (but master of none), dishwashers, fridges, tvs, and making smartphones is just another product they manufacture but simply don't specialize in. Huge difference.

Because Apple innovated the use of blue in their marketing and Samsung merely copied it.

Yes....another example of Apple following Samsungs lead....

Isn't that really Chelsea blue? :p

You are all wrong.

The originator of this color blue was the Blue Knight at Medieval Times.

Wow, I didn't realise they had digital cameras, smoke generators and moody electric lighting during Medieval Times .... History is fascinating ;)

Yes - isn't it widely known that Medieval Times is completely historically accurate? ;):D

It was a much simpler time....when people known only as "Knight" preceded by their favorite color fought each for no apparent reason while the general public paid to watch and eat a meal that likely never would have been available in the 1500s?

That being said, my wife and I need to visit. I remember going when I was a kid and it was a blast. A pricey blast, but still fun haha.

Is anyone even surprised at this juncture? The main reason why Samsung even grew so big in the first place was because they copied Apple. In for a penny, in for a pound.

I'm pretty sure its all the industries that Samsung is in that made them big.

I don't recall Apple making TVs, kitchen appliances, construction equipment, medical machinery, Artillary systems like Samsung do.

As for the website design, does Apple have a patent on having a large picture of your new products as the centre of the page that I'm unaware of?

That's because Apple is a company that SPECIALIZES in tech, computers, phones, tablets. They focus on specific products (most specifically their iPhone), which is why they're on top in the smartphone sector. Samsung produces overpriced over saturated overrated toys. I'll admit the S6 is a step ahead for them, but up until now their designs were sh_t, the UI is sh_t, they have 6000 different tablets and smartphones and most of them except one or two are just ok.

This is an argument that neither side will win, ultimately it does come down to how you view companies and how you view innovation and in general what your preference is. I run iOS and Android platforms, my Nexus 7 tablet and my iPhone 6. I have extensive hands on use with plenty of Samsung products (more so tablets), the Tab Pro 8.4, the Tab S 8.4, Tab 4 10.1, Galaxy S4. Their products do work and have cool little features and gimmicks that I never found myself using, but overall it wasnt a pleasant experience. The Tab Pro 8.4 I had was equipped with a Snapdragon 800 at 2.3ghz with 2gb and it still hiccuped on the home screens and app drawer transitions. The Tab S had a Enynos octacore at 1.9ghz with 3gb of RAM and it still would hiccup in the same areas.

Samsung needs to catch up software wise. End of story. Products are no good with shotty software. You want a good Android experience, there are plenty BETTER choices.
