Just an FYI to anyone who cares-- I found out this morning that my S7 Edge can do scrolling capture, too. The option came up when I pushed the power and home button at the same time to do a screen capture.
Yeah, that's a feature on all Samsung phones since the S6, I have it on my Note 5 too.

Is this a Samsung exclusive feature or something all Android phones can do?
It's an added feature from TouchWiz, I don't think any other manufacturer has it.

Really, TouchWiz gets a bad rap because it isn't well optimized and it was hideous in the past, but it's my favorite skin.

You can already get fast charging by using a 12W charger. Wireless charging is not Wireless either. you still need to connect a wireless port with the plug, but I don't mind one. ...

Apple made a big deal about their lightening connector being able to be inserted upside down or right side up. With wireless charging, you don't even have to insert any plug into the phone at all.

Are you sure you don't have to insert a plug into the wireless charging device? So what's the difference? It's good to have but it's not a MIND BOGGING feature

You only have to plug in the wire once with wireless charging.

With the lightening connector, you have to plug it in every single time you want to recharge

I doubt Apple will ever have official quick charge or microSD.
Using an iPad charger on an iphone is already close enough to quick charge

Bruh. The Apple Pencil is longer than the phone.

Yeah but it's a far more pleasant experience to use vs. the S-Pen. Convenience vs. form. When I owned a Galaxy Note 10.1, even though that S-Pen was bigger than the one in the Note phone, I still bought Samsung's full pen size version to carry as writing with it was so much better.

I personally find trying to take useful notes on anything other than a 10" tablet to be lacking but can appreciate other who like it.

Size (both display and physical dimensions)
AMOLED
Wireless charging

I don't care about removable storage.

Agreed on note taking on a phone. Screen is far too small to do anything useful.

But even with the good design, the Apple Pencil would be to unwieldy to use with a 5 inch phone. It just doesn't work to use it when it's bigger than the phone itself.

Why would I insert the cable into the wireless charging device more than once? Plug it in once out of the box, place it on my nightstand at home and/or desk at work and/or car cradle and that's it. I never have to touch a charging wire again fro the rest of my life.

No it's not a mind boggling feature, but it is very convenient, but I can only speak for myself. Getting in and out of my car multiple times, having to fumble with a cable in the middle of the night, etc.

I disagree 1000% with this, but just my personal opinion. Have you ever written notes on a Post it? That's much smaller than the Note 7 screen, yet still highly effective. But the Note 7 takes it so much farther. You can annotate stuff, pictures, PDF files, webpages, screenshots, etc. You can also transition the notes to a larger format, such as using OneNote and starting a note on my phone, then finishing it on my surface pro 4 or maybe the ipad pro, although I'm not sure what the OneNote capabilities are on the IPP.

But you can't charge the phone while using it in your hand.
And in those times you can still use the cable. This isn't an either or choice, you can have both features and use which is more convenient for you at the time.

Right, so you would have to have a cable next to the wireless charger. what may be important to some is not important or as useful to others for various reasons. But options are good.

Sure you can, but it takes just a smidge of common sense. Reach over and unplug your cable, and plug it into your phone.
Exactly. And that's what I said above, a charging cable has to be next to the wireless charger. I might as well plug it in, which for me (and me only)is why I don't think wireless charging is that useful.

I'm not really following you, but that's OK I get your main point. By having my phone always wirelessly charging I never run into a situation where I need to plug it in to use it, it's pretty much always charged. I would find it FAR more inconvenient to talk and use it with a wire dangling from it and tethering me to the wall or car, but that's just me. I do understand emergencies happen when you have no juice, but that is such a rare occurrence for me that simply unplugging the wire from the wireless cradle doesn't phase me. I guess I just don't understand the level of inconvenience from actually plugging it in, versus plugging it in, seems like the same thing.

I don't really find post-its that productive. You can't really get much down on them. Although I wouldn't have much use for them myself, I appreciate the things you can do with the S Pen, but I don't see myself doing anything like that on such a small screen. Just my opinion.
