iPad Touch ID is still great

I feel that touch ID on the iPad is good because iPad is so much heavier to lift up and use FaceID which will be an annoyance. (that is why I am buying the iPad now w/o FaceID) I do like Face ID on the phone but wish that app purchases can be done with out double push of homebutton, I wish it is a software button instead.
