The real question is ... How much did Danielle Cassley and Jason Citron and Igloo games pay Arn for that plug?

Cube Runner is a good game in its own right (the controls work beautifully), but if you look at it as a tech demo it's not hard to imagine some great Ikaruga-esque games coming out in the future.

Doctors

I am surprised how openly people are willing to give advice based on almost no facts. I hope people don't make decisions about their own lives without understanding themselves and their situations. By the way, in developed countries, more doctors does not correlate strongly (or necessarily positively) with better health for its citizens.

By the way, I've been looking for an iPhone application website where I could get good information. Nice move.

Excellent idea

Didn't read all the posts, so probably parroting here...

I'll be checking in at toucharcade quite a bit. I definitely want to know about the games before I pay (or even download for free) and I don't put a whole lot of stock in the reviews available through iTunes. Looking forward to all-Arn-enabled all-Mac-awareness!

So far I am loving the games, all the apps actually! The controls do take a little time to get the hang of but once you do it is awesome! I can definitely see this device being a major player in the mobile gaming market very soon, and I cant wait till it is! :D

Site for appstore apps?

Touch Arcade is a great site for iphone games, but is there a site very similar that focuses on iphone apps?

that would be nice too

I noticed today that Jirbo has started charging $0.99 for Jam and Jive, which were formerly free.

I doubt that anyone is systematically tracking changes to application prices, but it would interesting to know what the overall trend is and what percentage of apps are repriced over time.

But anyway, it takes all different types of people and professions to make the world go around and Arn is able to help a lot of people in an entirely different way with MR. I applaud his courage to leave a cushy highly paid profession and head out into the somewhat unknown to follow his dreams.
Wow, doctors must really have it different in the USA compared with the rest of the world if you consider them to have a 'cushy' job. Doctors here in New Zealand and in other places I've lived work 14-16 hour days and barely sleep or see their families...

I'm sure that while Arn's medical skills will no doubt be missed in a world with too few doctors, perhaps this change of lifestyle with provide him with a healthy prescription of relaxation, sleep and happiness.
