That's not really training on the watch itself. People are bound to ask question at the Apple Store about the watch and they are just going over what information can be shared (not much). Basically, "Don't speculate on the watch, when it will be released, its battery life, or anything else about it. Don't make disparaging remarks about the watch or its competitors. Express excitement about the watch. Direct customers to the website." Low level Apple employees won't be trained on the watch until just a few days before launch. It's part of how they prevent leaks.

Ah.. I see. This makes more sense.

What is there left to leak about the watch?

Apparently 2 employees from each store are being flown to Apple headquarters to learn more about Watch and then go back and train all the other store employees.

Ugh, can't wait! I've been jonesing to buy a new Apple product for awhile.

Last one was my iPhone 6, which I don't count since I always get the new iPhone lol. Last non-phone product was probably my time capsule 10 months ago =\

Yes I am itching to buy a new Apple product as well. ;)

Not to nit pick but it appears there will be 3 training locations: Cupertino, Austin and Atlanta. So probably only west cost stores are going to HQ.

Wonder if UK Employees are being flown out there?

Possibly, altho i'm not sure if us in the UK will be getting the :apple: Watch at the same time as those in the US, one indication that won't is that on the UK site is says "Available 2015" where as the American site says "Available early 2015" so we in the UK might have to wait a little longer :(

I'm going got say no to any foreign employees being flown in to Apple HQ's. If this is going to be released in April 2015, but foreign markets later in the year, it won't be an "unreleased" product anymore, it will be publicly available and no longer under wraps. A commoner like you and I will probably be able to train anyone to use once the second keynote comes out. At most, they'll probably send a worker form the HQ to every store in the country right before launching it in said country.

Apple doesn't have headquarters in Austin?
