I have an old MacBook Pro 2012 with some music playlists that I wish to transfer to a new 2020 Air. Both machines are running Sequoia 15.3 (the Pro using Open-Core Legacy Patcher). I have copied two playlists via Export for iTunes, which works with Music quite well. However, when I tried to add one playlist (356 songs and single-recorded albums), the Music app choked, and took over two hours to attempt "loading" without any result. I do not wish to use iTunes Match, Nor do I wish to use Migration Assistant because I don't want all the Music files on the Pro (duplicates elsewhere).

Aside from copying files manually (dragging them to the app window), I don't understand why Music did not take the Export playlists. Anyone able to help ?
