Hello,

Trying to transfer pix's from iPhone to my desktop mac.

Expected to use the native mac app called "Photos" which I see is on the bottom bar of the mac.

Can't figure out how to tell it to go
to the iPhone to transfer pix's from.

Old age problem, again, I guess.

If anyone could walk me thru, exactly, the steps to
do this, would be very appreciative.

Or, is there a "better" way ?

Thanks,
Bob

You need to send the pictures FROM the iPhone TO the Mac.
You could use a file sharing app (File Browser) or do it the slow and tedious way using AirDrop.

use the IMAGE CAPTURE app in your apps folder. the manual way to get photos off your phone. its easy. but you need to plug the phone into computer.

Hi Bob.

Do you have/use an iCloud Account?

Using iCloud, every photo I take with my iPhone is mirrored to my Desktop almost instantly.
