I travel internationally often, regardless of the airport you need to have the right bag for those situations. I learned years ago to not be “that guy” holding up the line to unpack their goods. Also, I learned to use a single quart sized clear bag for my toiletries. So many rookies make that mistake and it gets old… saw a lady last week at LHR that tried to use three of the provided clear bags For her crap… held everybody up arguing with the agent
That is annoying, but not everyone travels frequently and is up on the latest permutation of the ever-changing security theater.

I used to put all my pocket crap into one of my shoes, and that was fine for a long time -- then recently was told I can't do that. I've accidentally left a random deodorant in my carry-on and had nobody say a thing. I've been in security lines where they insisted I put my laptop in a bin entirely by itself with no sleeve. I've randomly been screened by a dog and been told I get to leave my shoes on. There are always weird little variations and changes. As long as we all have to go through all this security theater there's always going to be a "that person."

In one place those dumbheads demanded me to remove glasses and put them on tray too. Not on the passport control where they look that person in passport is actually me, but on security checkpoint. What for???
