iPhone Trick phone into thinking 3g is wifi?

Hey guys,

I hate starting new threads but the search isn't being helpful. I bought a program on my 4.1 jb that tricked the iphone into thinking 3g was wifi. Well, I just JB 4.2, and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I bought the license, so I'd like to to reuse it...but I have no idea what it was. I could have sworn it was called my3g or something like that... any ideas?

My 3g has to be it. But its not showing up in cydia. Perhaps its not 4.2.1 ready yet. Thanks!
 
Strange, all I get is 2 lockscreen themes when i search for it. Is it showing up for anybody with the latest JB?

ETA - 3dunrestrictor shows up on the main page but not my3g

Make sure you type My3G. No spaces, dont put My 3G.

I get those 2 lockscreen themes too when I search for My 3G:D
 
Man... I must be really dumb. I went to iphonerepospot, and the ONLY thing I see on there is unrestrictor. And yeah, I've searched with the space and without, and those are the only 2 items coming up for me.

There seems to be a problem with Cydia at the moment with people not being able to download the package file, hence only seeing Themes.

Hopefully be fixed soon, as I currently cant Install anything, and there is quite a few people commenting on it at the moment.
 
I'd recommend that you go into Cydia and go to the "Manage Account" section and see if it shows up there under "Installable Purchases". Or I'm pretty sure that My3G is featured on the front page of Cydia just under "Manage Account".

Alright, this set me up on the right track. Its there, but it tells me 'cannot locate package'. I'm guessing I need to go to that modmyi website on my phone right? Its down right now, but do I just download a link on that site, or is it more complicated?

Just wait till cydia and most its repos are back online.
Servers are getting slammed for a few days now that the new JB has been out.

And that did the ticket. For those interested, everytime it tried to update I got a failed to connect to host. This time it actually updated and there it was.
 
Data Usage

Question? If I'm using tether me to allow devices to connect to my phone and If i use the My3G will this make my phone think its using wifi instead of my regular data, when thesedevices are connected to my phone?
