If you have OpenCore-Configurator open with multiple disks it will show on which partition is the OC located and you can mount that particular partition:

Thanks Dayo for all the tips provided
Just for clarification, where will the EFI be located in Finder and how do I know which is the correct one ?
I did see a couple of EFI folders
But when I looked at the path, it seemed like they were in the folder structure for the Mac mini I was using to do these steps
So wasn’t sure if that was correct or not

Yeah, my apologies for the confusion on OS
Im currently working on 3 different computers right now
Im usually quite good at this kind of stuff and have used Open Core before in the past
But for some reason, installing Big Sur on my Mac Pro has been a nighmare
I tried it a year or so ago, and didn’t have any luck then

Hey startergo
I don’t have Open Core configurator installed
Shpuld I install it then ?
I looked at installing Open Core this morning on my Mac Mini, but when I downloaded the latest version in zip file
I unzipped it and I could necessarily see an installer
So realised I might not be really understanding it and am going to do some more research tonight
Like I was saying in previous post, I’ve installed Open Core before on my Mac Pro
Bit seem to be having a serious dull moment in my brain with regards to this
In all honesty, I feel a bit silly I’m not getting a grip with this
Nevertheless, I shall proceed
Thanks for your help

On a side note, I have an Aquacomputer kryoM.2 on the bottom PCIe slot of my Mac Pro which is a 16x bay
Installed in this is a WD Black nvme
But this is showing up as an external disk !
Is that correct ?
This is my video editing computer
Should I install Big Sur on the nvme or a ssd ?
Is it better to have OS on nvme and video files on SSD ?
or
OS on SSD and video files on nvme ?
Thanks

Martin Lo's process has a reputation for being easy to use so you could try that.

As for MyBootMgr, since the first responder was a nutter that said it was confusing/complicated, I think it has just gone from there. The steps for MyBootMgr are summarised in the guide as reproduced below. I have always been puzzled as to which part of identifying an app or the other and running this people find complicated. Perhaps you can shed some light on this so that it can be simplified.

Hey Dayo, thanks for Martin Lo info
For me, it was confusing as when looking over the process you have just posted, I didn’t see anything that said OpenCore
Therefore I thought there were going to be loads of further steps and didn’t realise the OpenCore was installed just from your above post
I will try that later now then
I really appreciate your patience, commitment and obviously all the information

Never mind Dayo, I used Martin Los method to install
Didnt show how to install on USB though like you advised
So had to install on OS drive
Tried to install it too on the USB
But got this error
So no idea

Just have to figure out how to use Opencore to allow OS to install on NVME, and any kind of configurations

The problem is now, that I’ve been trying to do this for a couple of weeks
And my mind is so confused as to what the order is anymore
I really don’t know if I’m doing or going with all this

I used Martin Lo's method
Should work for you.

Fixed the script errors in MyBootMgr. Got a brain freeze while jumping between programming languages and used a variable assignment process from one in another while doing some updates.

Applescript, used by the MyBootMgr Apps, does not throw errors unless when the item is hit at runtime and as there are several possible pathways, the tests I do might not show some up if, say, they are on a code pathway related to something I don't use.

Anyway, sorted and re-uploaded the package.

BTW, just stumbled on this by chance as not actively following this thread or most threads on the forum in general.
So in future, please use an "@" mention or post in the relevant thread. Just typing someone's name in your post is not enough.

@Dayo Hey Dayi, I’ve got up to Testrefindplus and it’s on this screen(see attachment) after selecting option 1. For Mojave OS
It’s cycled around 3 times already
Meaning it goes through a reboot, shows option for OS, 1.Mojave boot into open core, sits with same screen and repeats
Is this correct ?

@Dayo just noticed I;the 4th cycle around the operating system says High Sierra, not Mojave
Yet Mojave IS the OS ?
I believe you mentioned in your write up something about havping an OS that was already patched
Maybe that is why it’s doing this ?
If so, what do I do now ?
Thanks
