True Tone isn’t working, even when enabled.

I’m encountering a problem with True Tone not working, I will see the color tone shift before my eyes and sometimes it switches right back and sometimes it doesn’t. The only way get True Tone functioning is to disable, then re-enabling it.

I tried disabling auto brightness to no avail.

This is quite annoying!

My true tone keeps fluctuating this morning. I noticed the screen was all blue, and I turned true tone on and off, and I didn’t see a difference at all. I kept turning it on and off and true tone eventually turned on.

What would cause this to happen?
