Hello!

I'm trying to upgrade the hard drive in my Macbook Pro from 500GB to 1TB. I have the 1TB in a Firewire enclosure and I want to clone everything over before installing it (so that I know that it works before I start messing with stuff). I got a copy of Carbon Copy Cloner (CCC) and went to create my bootable clone but it says there are read or write errors with the disk and it may cause system instability to clone. To complicate things further, I also have a Snow Leopard partition on the machine that I'd like to clone over as well.

Does anyone know what might be causing the read/write errors? How can I fix this?
