Apparently there is no way to revert a 4K Apple TV. I’d like to do the same, as Netflix is starting the next episode of every show with 9 minutes remaining.
Yes, I wish I had realized that myself. I have an app that I use all of the time that just crashes and I'm just going to have to wait until they either update the app or one of Apples beta updates fixes the problem. It's beyond me why Apple pulled the USB port off of the 4K

Well today is your day!

So I didn't realize I had beta updates on and it sucks. It's best to keep beta updates on and then once the general release comes out turn off beta updates right? If I don't do that, I'm just stock on this ****** PB until the GR comes out.

If you have the 4K version, you're stuck period.

this beta SUCKS. do not install it..I accidentally left the profile on for ios 12 and it downloaded ios 13 on here and its terrible..cant sign into apps, cant watch episods on paramount, AE and MTV smh

Man do I regret installing the PB on my ATV in my bedroom. It’s insanely buggy and choppy. Not messing with my ATV4K in my living room until the official is out.

I had the same problems and rode it out. It was/is horrific. I was thinking the same as you, but then "hoped" that a newer release might be smoother. I'm in the 3rd release and things are smoother. It's better now, much better . . . You might want to at least try to move up to the smother release and wait there?

I’m not having too many issues on my Apple TV HD in the bedroom. However, I would say don’t do it if you have an Apple TV 4K. There is no port that you can use for diagnostics/rolling back and requires service from Apple.

The beta is pretty good, although this most recent beta seems to be the worst so far. It seems to be stuttering and getting frozen a lot. But all the apps and playback work fine.

Also did anybody else notice that in tvOS 13 the TV no longer wakes up when pressing the touchpad? You now have to actually press a button, and pretty deliberately. Definitely a welcome change to prevent accidentally turning on the TV.

Newest beta is laggy. Low frame rate, but my remote seems more accurate.

Before it seemed like it wouldn’t read my touches correctly

I thought my two Apple TV devices were locking up whilst asleep, I did switch them off/on at the mains a couple of times to get them going again. Then I noticed as well that you have to press a button rather than the trackpad to wake them up.

No other problems on my 4K or HD, although occasionally I see that the remote has disconnected about half way through a film, but it always connects straight back when I press it.
