All I'll need updated is auki and Messages Customiser and I'm all set. The rest actually work fine.

I had it on my 4, then had to rebuy it for my 5S, it fully supports IOS7. I just checked Cydia.

That's right, Gridlock 2... it came out pretty late in the game if I recall. Wasn't there some caveat with it or something? Trying to remember why I never updated to it. I can't remember. Anyhow, yeah, would love to see it for iOS 8. That, BiteSMS, xCon, Shrink\Bigify are top of my list for things that would make me happy this week. :)

Lots were mad that they had to repurchase it but the Dev said it was a complete rewrite for 7 and it was still just a few dollars. Well worth it to me, I just shot him an email. I will post back here if he gets back to me.

I was happy to pay that few extra $ for the rewrite, it is a great tweak. Let us all know what he says.

The sense of entitlement among some people is appalling; I remember being pissed at the whiners back then. Coding is work, and that tweak took a long time (and a complete rewrite from the ground up) to get working again. I pretty much assume I'm going to have to pay for major updates, so if I get one for free, I'm pleasantly surprised. I paid for Gridlock2 the day it was released, and even though I ended up replacing it with a different setup a little while later, I still have no regrets. Chpwn has done a lot for the JB community; the few extra bucks I spent was a gesture of thanks. I agree, it was well worth it.

I'd gladly rebuy iBlacklist again if they'd just get it done this week, even at the $12 I previously paid, or whatever it costs now. I won't move up to 8.1 without it, and I can't find an even halfway equivalent alternative. May be continuing on 7.1.2 with the iPhone 5, and no idea what I'll do when the 6 arrives midmonth...who knows what version will be on that one? Might be an outrageously expensive iPod Touch for a few months until Pangu JB's 8.2. :D (Only sort of kidding...I've lived with a stock iPad for a couple of weeks to prove I could, but I haven't had a stock phone for more than three hours since iOS 3. I don't think it's possible!)

I'm thinking I may not need iBlacklist again. I blocked a few numbers a few months ago on 7.1.2. This morning when looking through voicemails, I discovered that one of those numbers had been calling me every few days and leaving messages and I had no idea. That works pretty much like what I wanted iBlacklist to do except iBlacklist showed me when blocked callers would call.

What's the point of iBlacklist now that we can block texts and numbers with iOS 7 and newer?

TL;DR...the iOS stock call blocking function is inadequate for some people's use cases. iBlacklist is what they should have implemented stock in the first place.

----------------------

Why iBlacklist? Easy--there's no adequate whitelist function in stock iOS. And no, setting the phone to DND except contacts doesn't count for adults who need to use notifications for other apps. (I understand that trick works well for kids in school though.)

I average 20 blocked sales calls most months, nearly all from unique numbers--the number is on the Do Not Call List & has been for 7 years, but was briefly a contact number for a business I ran, so it ends up on calling lists. Whitelisting calls to only my contacts is effective and only has to be done when I first install iBlacklist on a new JB. The phone doesn't ring or light up unless it's someone I actually care about speaking with, and it doesn't interfere with my notifications from other apps. When stock iOS provides that, I might even be able to forego jailbreaking altogether.

Two rebuttals before they come up, because they always do: 1) No, I'm not changing my number. There's no reason to give up a number I've had for 15 years when the functionality to block this BS exists. I'd move to Android first, where blocking calls can be done on a stock phone. 2.) No, I'm not worried about people/hospitals/etc. reaching me in an emergency. Without getting into details, it's been tested that way & I'm fine with how it works. Those who aren't comfortable with that idea don't have to use it--having choices is what jailbreaking is about.

I've installed many of the old mods that don't cause any problems with having them installed so that way once they get updated, Cydia will let me know when I open it.

I'm still waiting on Social Duplicator and Mail Enhancer.

Never heard back from the Dev so I started playing with homescreendesigner along with Iblank for iOS 7, it's not a perfect replacement but it will do what I want to do. Just a bit more work and planning than Gridlock. Both work good on my 6+.

Instead of installing a tweak that isn't compatible yet you can still have Cydia alert you to a update if the app isn't installed.

Find the app that you are waiting to be updated, click on Change Package Settings up towards the top and turn on Show All Changes. That'll show you all upgrades even if it isn't installed;)

I want Action Menu, BatteryDetective, Background Manager, CaneraTweak, Canopy, FlipControlCenter, Gremlin Framework, NoAnnoyance, Mail Enhancer Pro, Springtomize, StatusTime+ and Unlimtones working.

As far as I know status time+ works. It was on the compatible list in the other thread. I was using it before hideme8 let you set your own custom string...

Looks good, but is it just me or does it look like HideMe8 is trying to dethrone Springtomize? lol

Just about lol. I'd say it's about 35% there, I'd be happy to keep hideme8 if they'd add a resize icon option. Springtomize has been my main tweak for years though since I seldom use Winterboard. Probably never will on iOS 8 unless Pangu releases a 8.2 jailbreak...

Just wondering if anyone could let me know if scrobl works on an iPhone 6? Might be and old school tweak but it worked on my 5S and was one of the only reasons I jailbroke.
