I just got shipment notification, mine will be delivered tomorrow.

Did you get the free shipping or next day. I thought it said 5 to 10 days. But I did order the combo of the Watch Stand and iPhone Deluxe stand.

FYI, for those of you bagging on the HiRise being overpriced compared to the Spigen blah blah.

Let me tell you this. I have the Spigen Apple Watch stand, and I also have a HiRise for my iPhone 6 Plus. The quality difference is HUGE.

The HiRise feels more solid, much better weighted etc etc. It's not even a contest.

Folks, you can always trust WilliamG. His information/sound advice really helped me when I was purchasing a large RAID array. He knows his stuff and is a great help to his fellow forum members.

I ordered the Spigen stand, but I find myself looking time and time again at this stand by TwelveSouth. It looks really, really nice!

Aw, thanks for the props. Appreciated. Smile on my face. :)

I'm also tempted by the TwelveSouth HiRise, but it takes up quite a bit of room, much like the iPhone HiRise - about 4.8 inches deep. That's LOT. The Spigen is a hair under half of that depth, and on my bedside table that's substantially less.

Why the Apple Watch HiRise needs to be the same depth as the iPhone HiRise is a little beyond me. Seems like overkill.

Here's my Spigen Watch Stand next to the HiRise iPhone stand (which has the same dimensions as the HiRise Watch Stand. The HiRise Watch stand is 4.76" deep vs 4.8" for the HiRise iPhone stand - not really a tangible difference.

So whether you want THAT much stand on your desk will be subjective. I certainly like the weightiness of the HiRise iPhone stand, but for a watch - for me at least - it's overkill. I'd happily take the Spigen with a little thicker of a base for more weight there.

Wow, I didn't realize the TwelveSouth stands were that big. Thank you for pointing that out and showing us a pic too. Space on a nightstand is definitely a concern for me. Since I've already ordered a Spigen, I think I'll try it for awhile and see if I really need something else.

And that's exactly what I'm going to do. :)

12South Apple Watch Stand

Just received it via FedEx. Assembly was a breeze; didn't even need the directions. Love it.

Can't access flickr at work; here is a photo I uploaded from Tapatalk in another thread. Will post pic again below.

Looks pretty nice. What seems to be holding it in the stand?

probably just the magnet from the charger. They are insanely strong. I am personally not really a fan of that stand. Everything looks cluttered.

I have the nomad standing coming, and it looks like a similar finish. OP, does the texture concern you at all against the watch?

Is it me or does the base of the stand look really big? Was thinking about getting one - could you measure the bottom when you get a moment please, thanks!

Twelve South makes really nice stuff and good quality too. I have a MacBook stand that I love.

However, ended up ordering the Spigen stand. I needed two of 'em and it just made more sense to spend $50 on two rather than $100 on two.

Plus, Spigen is in my backyard so I'm supporting local business...haha

Just an opinion...not trying to hijack the thread :)

I love Twelvesouth products, but $50?!

I might just bite the bullet honestly. I still use their bookbook cases, and bought the stand for my Macbook Air when I connect it to a monitor.

I bought the Tweleve South stand to go with my HiRise Deluxe for my iPhone.

I'm very impressed. For me it came done to the Nomad and Twelve South. I like a stand that hides the cord.

It works very well. There is a rubber ring around the area the magnetic charging base sits to hold it in place and to prevent the watch form directly touching the aluminum.

The top edge where the band rest is also plastic to keep the stand from scratching the watch.

Do you have a problem of taken off the lid where the cord comes out. On mine, it is so tight I can barely get the lid off to remove the charger. I am trying to find out if that is normal or mine is defective.

I've never tried. I bought an extra charger since I travel so much and never planned on removing it from the stand. I'll try it and let you know.
