The botched photo doesn't really have anything to do with the leak being accurate. Multiple people have said AirPower is coming.

The SE uses iPhone 8 camera hardware (sensor and lens). It has no XR camera hardware.
The AirPower photo incident says it all. He claimed it was an exclusive photo from a trusted source. It turned out to be a photo of an AirPower clone that had been floating on the web for weeks. When he was called out, he doubled down and said he would provide a real photo later. We're still waiting.
The specs are the exact same except for the fps on the front camera.
I feel like you’re taking this a bit too seriously. He gets a lot right. He gets some stuff wrong. I think he has enough of a track record to prove he has some legit sources.

The SE teardown shows the sensor size to be exactly the same as iPhone 8. The XR has a 30% larger sensor.
Stats get skewed if we dismiss things like the SE claim.
Prosser seems to predict launch dates with accuracy and that's about all. I was previously inclined to believe he had a source in Apple's marketing unit, but the fact he got every single thing wrong about WWDC makes me doubt that.
My recommendation: Only trust in Ming Chi Kuo, Mark Gurman and L0vetoDream.
Which makes no sense whatsoever of your ‘inclination’. Even if you were correct, John Prosser having a source in Apples marketing department has nothing to do with WWDC Even if he was wrong. So he got XYZ amount of things wrong with WWDC given his reliability with past device launch dates and other predictions. If he got everything right, then you probably making the claim that he’s just ‘carbon copying‘ other analysts. To me, [And based off your post history], it seems you’re a bit miffed that he’s getting more notoriety over Ming Kuo, in which his trajectory has plenty of stutters as well.
That leaker created his account last week on Twitter not exact solid. And he has like 2 posts.
