Didn't take me long to learn the 2 finger scroll/right click. I find it much more intuitive than using the scroll section of the PC trackpad and more convenient than using the right mouse button on the trackpad.

I find that if you approach the trackpad the way you want to use the function (ie. scroll vs. right click), you'll find that the trackpad reacts appropriately. Thus, I brush the trackpad with 2 fingers for scroll or hold and move it around for additional scrolling. The right click is 2 fingers and click. Sometimes, I have to tap more than once (which I think is Apple's way of double checking).

More practice for you! :) Good luck.

I was used to two finger scrolling on my PB and now I've got my new MBP:D I've been trying two finger tapping instead of ctrl tap. Haven't got the hang of scrolling without opening the contextual menus yet though.

I noticed one or two people said in posts that the same thing happens to them. Is it something you get used to and doesn't happen after a while? I'm not heavy handed or anything.

For me, I've got a MacBook, and I suddenly tripped over the feature of scrolling with two fingers by accident, but since then I've used it almost all the time :)
