Multiple mentions of this case being loose are making me worried. I am currently waiting for it to become available here in Canada. I have young children, and I wanted something to protect this better than the thinner cases from Amazon.
The loose one I had came from Best Buy.
I returned that and ordered directly from UAG. This one is much better.
Also, the one from Best Buy had the UAG logo in black, whereas the one from UAG is silver.
Maybe they sorted something out after perhaps rushing the reseller models to Best Buy? I dunno.
I also have a Sena Future Folio coming, so we'll see which one I stick with, but so far, this case may wind up being my daily driver.

I have been using this case for a few days with my new IPP 10.5 and while there are many things I like about it, there are other issues. The biggest, and someone else has already asked this but not received and answer, is about a typing angle. I can't seem to find a decent angle to prop this to use the software keyboard. For all the features built in to this case, this one is a major, glaring omission. I have tried folding it in different ways, thinking I am missing something but I don't see it being a good option for typing at this point. Also, I bought mine at Best Buy, with the black UAG logos, and it is also a little loose around the speaker cutouts and weaker edges. I wonder if this will get worse over time?

See my post above about the looseness.

As for the typing angle, I'm just debating getting the Smart Keyboard anyway, so this may wind up being a non issue for me.

Mine is a little bit loose around the speakers and volume cutouts as well but it does not bother me at all. Mine is from BB with the black UAG logo. BTW, my CTsing case is also loose around the speakers cutouts so looks like this is a very common issue with some TPU cases.
[doublepost=1499198840][/doublepost]Just for the sake of curiosity I ordered one more from Amazon. This one has the silver logo and it's sold by UAG and fulfilled by Amazon. I will compare both and keep the one that feels better.

Got my second UAG Metropolis Folio Case with the silver logo this time and I found no differences from the one I got from Best Buy. They both feel the same with a little looseness around the speakers cuts but like I said before, it does not bother me at all and I like the way it works with my Apple Smart Cover. I like the one with black logo better so the other one is already on the way back to Amazon!!!

Check the pictures I posted on page 1 of this thread. The UAG cover is removable so you can use the Apple Smart Cover and the Smart Keyboard.

Can you post a picture of the different logos. The silver or black?

So the silver uag logo is the newest one with no issues?

Most TPU cases, if not all, feel a little bit loose around the speakers cutouts. I have a CTsing case which has back TPU case and it feels the same as the UAG case. At least for me, the UAG Metropolis for iPad Pro 10.5 feels really good in my hands. It has a lot of grip, it is not bulky and it works perfectly with the Apple Smart Cover. The one I got from Amazon is already on the way back so I can't post any pictures of it. The cases are exactly the same, the only difference is the logo finish on the front cover. The one that Best Buy sells has the black logo and the one that other sellers sell, including Amazon and UAG come with the silver logo. I did so much switching between the two back covers that at this point I don't know if the cover I kept is the one that came from Amazon or from Best Buy. Like I said, both were the same and felt the same.

Overall, mine seems pretty tight. Not a fan of the solid pencil holder. I prefer the loop from last year as it doesn't get in the way when there's no pencil there.

Other than the fixed pencil holder, what are your thoughts on the case? I think I could handle the pencil holder being fixed, because I am likely to use it and I have seen several images of the loop tearing off.

Odd that the ones from Best Buy have different coloured branding than the ones from uag and amazon.

I'd prefer black branding over the silver so long as they fit the same.

Is it worth returning my Best Buy black one for one direct from uag or amazon?

The first generation of cases, UAG gave you the option when ordering from their site. Not sure why they changed it this time around.

I see Amazon.com doesn't have this case for sale, anymore. . There are currently only a single 1 and 5 star rating. I wonder if there are reasons for them not selling it anymore? I still cannot find this, or the Otterbox, in Canada.

In case you haven't found it yet I ordered one from amazon.ca yesterday. Not too many left so you may want to jump on it quick!

I received this case recently (I really like the Cobalt color) and the pencil holder is fantastic. If you don't use it, it's still covered by the magnetic clasp - so not obvious wasted space. It will even accommodate pencils that are in holders/skins, which is nice.

It's not too loose. The edge where the pencil holder is could stand to be tighter (it's a bit easy to slip it back a little), but it's not going to fall off or anything.

The nice bonus that isn't advertised is it behaves as a smart cover! That was a VERY pleasant surprise and made the cost well worth it.

Overall it's a very nice case and for a rugged case, it offers great protection without adding a lot of extra bulk or weight. Plus I really like the design. Yes, it would be nice if the case fit a bit more snugly along that edge, but it's not like anyone will notice other than you. The built-in pencil holder is nice. And if you don't use a pencil, it's not bulky or obvious wasted space.

Picked this case up from BBY today and it'll be going back. The loose side is a no go for me, but more significant is with this combined with my ASK it elevates the keyboard off of a flat surface due to the heft. I'll be sticking with my ESR shell for now.

Just got one from amazon with the silver logo.

What does everyone prefer silver or black uag logo?

I have one on order, had the previous version on my 1st gen and I loved it (it's still in use on my 2nd gen Pro since I have no other case at the moment but it fits great although it covers the flash). I think every case is going to have some sag, since it's a huge tablet. Either way, I found it so minimal on the UAG that it did not bother me. I hope the new version is the same.

Also, I think the new gen is only available with the silver logo. If you're shopping for the 12.9 size be careful that you have the right case, with the correct LED and speaker cutouts.

I have the one like that for my MacBook Pro - it feels really cheap. Go into a library and look for their old, jackletless books, find the cheapest feeling one, and that's what this material feels like.

Also, the adhesive does leave residue, and even after using alcohol to clean my MacBook Pro, there was still hints of it. The little strap gets annoying too, as it gets in the way during use.
