We have been cruising along in the mid 80's low 90's. The best part is the humidity for the most part has dropped off.

The humidity? It dropped in here. It's a little the worse for wear. :D

We're slated to get our share of a nor'easter tonight into the morning hours, maybe 6-9" by time it moves on. Well if this storm will be the biggest problem standing between us and clear roads a week from now for the Thanksgiving trips... no complaints. There are already some big smiles on the faces of those who like to ski. :D

I agree! Really am not ready to start using these things again.....

Me either. Hate having to leave the car in a certain place in the drive for the plow guy to do his thing. Gone now for the season those carefree days of parking anywhere. But I am pragmatic enough to have rounded up all that winter gear the last week or so.

So let's see if the forecast is hype now. Probably no such luck. I think we're in for it.

I live and work In New Jersey. People left work in Englewood Cliffs four hours ago and still haven’t gotten home. Their commutes are usually an hour. It’s like no one ever saw snow here before. Maybe they didn’t think it would be that bad and maybe there aren’t enough trucks on the road. 80 west, the interstate from GW BRidge to PA is shut down completely. My friend is going east on it and it took him two hours to go four exits. And the exits are fairly close together.

The roads are a mess, what ever was on the road before the snow hit froze.

There seems to have been a severe lack of preparation here. This storm was not a big one by any means, but the roads seemed completely untreated. There’s already been 7 storm related deaths due to traffic incidents.

My coworker gave up. He’s at a hotel by route 95. He has no change of clothes or anything. Good day for him.

I do think they may have underestimated this a bit, even though here they bumped the expected totals awhile back from max 9 to max 14 inches.

Plows are out but they won't be able to keep up with these 1-3" per hour blitzes that we're getting intermittently. It's pretty early for a big snow. People up in the higher hills here are usually just starting to fish out their studded tires and get them on by now, so they may have got caught out by this thing.

We're looking to have a record low high for Thursday, looks like it might just kiss the 20F mark...

So the cooked turkey might refreeze on Thanksgiving. They are predicting the coldest Thanksgiving on record.

We're headed in the other direction and will be -4º or lower Thursday night. Some weird one-day arctic blast poking down from our frenemy Canada. :D

Holy smokes! :eek::eek::eek:

We were in the mid 80's last week and are now in the mid 70's to low 80's this week. So I feel your pain with the drastic change in temperature! :D

However we have been hitting the low 50's at night though.

All you ever do is complain about the weather. Now because of you it's wet all over. You should be ashamed of yourself.
