New Volcano ashes wave coming?

Some of the UK flights were cancelled. Now I am too worried about not getting my iPad any time soon. USPS was so nice and provide me with a tracking number, but the status has not updated since last Thursday. I'm starting to get worried  ...

International Dispatch, May 13, 2010, 1:27 pm, ISC LOS ANGELES CA (USPS) Arrival
Acceptance, May 12, 2010, 7:04 pm, CULVER CITY, CA 90230

I was charged £18 at customs :) Here was my Parcelforce tracking experience:

I would say patience is a virtue. Mine took from 16th April to 12th May to materialize! So I would say you are nowhere near panic stations yet. I know it is hard. I got RSI from refreshing the Parcelforce website (as they deliver USPS in the UK)

Wouldn't the import tax and VAT depend on how much the item is worth and how much you sent it for? I thought that for an eBook reader the import tax is 3.7% and VAT 17.5%...
But I would appreciate it to be mistaken, and only would have to pay £18 :)

Thanks for your reply. I wouldn't worry about waiting 2 or 3 extra days neither. I was just concerned, if the ashes block air traffic for yet another week, my iPad may not arrive before the actual release date...
