UK/Europe order/delivery thread MBA 2012

Having finally decided to go for the i7 processor I was about to order my Macbook Air 13'' from Apple Store only to discover that it won't be delivered before July 19 - the same date that I'll be travelling to Portugal for a week. DAMN!

Guess I'll have to wait a week or so before I dare place my order. Wouldn't want to risk having the unit sent back because it couldn't be delivered.
 
How long did it take for you guys to get your tracking number? I tried putting in the delivery code into the expo.expeditors.com thing, but it keeps saying no data.

Edit: And I ordered last Tuesday btw
 
After bouncing back and fourth between germany and asia last week, my MBA has finally gotten closer to me. It was logged in copenhagen at 12:00 today so I guess it COULD be here in Stockholm tomorrow, as planned. :D
 
My 13" 8GB/256GB i7 has just shipped and is due in a week. I really hope I get it by the weekend, but that's probably a little optimistic.
 
I can see in the log that it has arrived at my "local" UPS facility, but no entry that it has gone out for delivery. It was supposed to come today.. soo.. hope I'm not staying at home for no reason.

They have also removed Est delivery date from the page...
 
I ordered mine toddy as well. The estimated delivery is between 29-1 of August.
I hope it'll be here sooner, but I'll have to wait and see.

I ordered mine today — standard spec 13" (128/4) — and it's scheduled to be delivered ... tomorrow. :eek:

yeah if yours is standard then i guess they just have to ship it our from their warehouse here in the UK so will Take 1-3 days?

mine will take 1-3 days once they have recieved it in the UK from china

Finally hit the buy button just now, 11/i5/8/128 with gift card and knomo envelope estimated 27-31 July.

I need a lie down, this has been too traumatic!

Lol even though i know its not going to have been completely built untill Monday at the earliest more likely tuesday or wednesday, im still checking the apple site every other hour.... you know... just to make sure :eek:

Ha I have checked it once to see it's gone to processing and thank god I have a busy weekend to keep me occupied!
Now I did say I was going to stay off the expeditors website once it leaves china, but I bet I don't!

order status changed to "preparing for shipment" :D

I ordered a 13" i7/8gb/256gb. It was shipped on the 16th but there is still no tracking no available? From the apple site it says 'in transit to customer' and estimated delivery date of the 25th? That seems very long to be delivered from the UK?

from what i have seen from other people, just ring apple and and see what they say

may even be some itunes vouchers in it for you as an apology lol

It was shipped from China on the 16th. The customer is Apple.
If you want to follow every step there is this site http://expo.expeditors.com/
Do you only have one item in your order? If there is more than one the items have to merge and then apple will post a tracking number.
 
Thanks oldcelt. That was very helpful. Having checked that site I can see it was coming from china, and I got the free education voucher too so as you said they have to be joined as one delivery and I'll prob get a tracking number then. Was just hoping is was gonna be here for the weekend! :)

Excuse my ignorance but if you dont have a tracking number how did you check the expeditors site??
 
In Sweden it says on Apple website the delivery time is 1-3 days. And most stores have the airs in stock.

why does it take so long for u guys?
