Thanks for the heads up, not so much Impressed with the Quality.... but liking the TV Guide.
It's been around for some time and I occasionally used it on iPhone. Works OK on iPad but compression is more noticeable.
Yep Quality is terrible, I read their Twitter and it says they will be rolling out a higher quality stream in the future (phew!).

Just watched some of More 4 with this and it worked really well. Quality isn't perfect but it's actually quite good. Some channels are better quality than others though. More 4 is, from my playing around, better than E4. Can't complain too much for a free service.
Still can't work out how they keep going. Surprised the broadcasters haven't hit them with a million lawsuits over copyright infringement.
When it first launched in 2007 it had lots of previous content like iplayer, but that was all taken down due to legal threats

Does anyone have any idea how much data this would use for say watching an hour over 3g?

How did you manage that? When I visit the normal site from the iPad it asks me to install flash!

If you're so concerned about that, set up a fake hotmail address and use that. It takes all of 2 minutes to do, and you're away.
