Has anyone who ordered via Curry’s received an update?

I was given a delivery date of 19th when I ordered (know that won’t be the case) but haven’t received any further updates. My status still being “Order Received”.

Have you had Apple care+ before? I've not got it for my phone yet, but did preorder the watch with it. I do have 'Gadget insurance', so not sure if it's wroth it for me.

Ohhh, sandhurst! you're really close to me. I live in Yateley and I'm collecting my phone at 8am in Reading tomorrow.

I'm Little Sandhurst so as close to Yateley as you can get I'll probably be at the Greggs there in about 45 minutes getting some steak bakes!

I've just spoken to Currys, they are in the process of being handed to DPD and the assistant said I would get a tracking number later this evening.

I'm now getting two deliveries, one I cancelled from Apple and the Curry's one. I guess I can refuse one of them.

Anyone had any experience with Three, I am thinking of switching to them from o2. 12 month Sim Only Unlimited everything for £20

haven’t heard good things about Three or O2...in my experience EE is the best

Not on my phones, I've had it previously on Macs and Watch.

I do have insurance with my bank but I now use it for running a business on the side and I'm concerned that should anything happen I don't have a back up phone.

I don’t think I’m getting my EE delivery tomorrow 😩 Can’t track my order through their tracker and just spoke with chat who confirmed it’s processing but kept being vague saying “from the 20th” and I will receive DPD tracking info and a call 24 hours prior. Not giving up hope completely but tomorrow seems unlikely. A little disappointing.

Still waiting on my DPD email from EE my EE tracking has gone overnight to dispatch expected in 24 hours, hopefully it'll come tomorrow!

Mine is the same, and makes perfect sense. DPD have 'delivery data' from Apple, but presumably the Apple order system status doesn't change until DPD have physically taken stock out of Syncreon building ("shipped") into a big truck to break down into regional batches.

DPD then work on them overnight & the delivery slots for each individual round are then worked out and notified.

correct, the phones are just being assigned to a courier.. interesting that no one seems to have (UKMail so far this year?). they'll all be picked up later today and that's when the tracking will update

Check the tracking as mine showed as that it's been delivered. I doubt they'll let us have it, but it's nice to know it's there.

If you follow the Syncreon link and manage delivery it takes you to DHL (UKMail) tracking. Pretty sure anyone with DPD is receiving tracking emails from them and all UKMailers are seeing the 'Shipped' status via Apple (without receiving an email)

For those who have purchased AppleCare+

Check when your AppleCare coverage started - in the past I've had it start a couple of days BEFORE they dispatch rather then when the unit actually arrives!
A quick call to the AppleCare Team and they will change the start date to the date you actually received the unit

Mine is now showing as shipped but no email.
Wanted it to be delivered by DPD who are usually quite good in my area!!!
