...yea agreed - may just have to order that ESR, even if I am only gaining a few millimetres!!!!

Also what I’ve found with ESR CS they will send out a replacement for free 1. If you manage to break them all! 2. They issue a revised protector down the line. I know there is a decent guarantee with ESR but this is more of a nod to my experience with their excellent level of CS.

Looks like their Pro Max protectors might not be as edge to edge compared to previous Maxes. But definitely closer to the screen edges than the Belkin. Will know soon enough on Friday!

Can I ask those who have an ESR tempered glass on their iPhone 12 if it is truly 'edge to edge'?

I'm really debating whether I should swap out my Belkin tempered glass for an ESR one if its edge to edge?!

This is my Belkin (apologies for the naff picture quality - its taken on a first gen iPad Air 2!!) :

Does the ESR actually go to the edge of the phone...?!

I've heard ESR might have rough edges, but it seems the only one that covers edge-to-edge in this video.

I remember my 6s plus days. That thing never used to drop calls or data. 8 plus and XR, constant call drops and data loss, 3g/4g switching

I’m coming from XR, difference is gonna be big for me with OLED and of course one of my biggest reasons for upgrading is the modem

Yeah for sure. That is my main reason for the upgrade as otherwise I love the size etc of the XS max

Can’t believe UK got shafted with intel modems. I loved my 8 plus with touch ID, would’ve probably kept it for a long time but the modem was terrible. XR wasn’t much better

So glad they did. Bye bye Intel you won't be missed!

All this talk of modems. Does the change from Intel to Qualcomm really make that much of a difference? Will I notice a difference on 4G (I know the new modem opens up 5G but that's only in the nearest town not at home where I'm still on 4G).

...no - I ordered mine directly from Mujjo (Netherlands) so will probably cost the price of the case to send back!!
I di the same, ordered it direct from Mujjo in the Netherlands using the 20@ discount then found it on Amazon for the same price and next day delivery.
I Emailed them and got an RMA, went online to the Post Office, printed a label and sent it back for about a fiver.

All, don’t forget you can now change your vote in the poll as to which exact Mini or Max your buying 👍
The poll is a pain in the ass. Makes it difficult to find the page you were on if you come back to the forum after a day or so and the thread has got a lot longer because you you have to scroll down past the massive list of options every time you load a new page before you can see the first post.

Yep, there are numerous speed tests of LTE on the 11 vs the 12 that show the 12 doing significantly better. In low signal conditions it can mean the difference from a usable speed vs intermittent connectivity.

i'm just hoping it doesn't drop at all, not fussed about the 5G at the mo.
Agreed. The 5G is a nice to have. Pre-Covid I used to do a lot of working from coffee shops around the country and for that 5G would be useful.
However, when working from home I'm either on WiFi or 4G. Just as long as the quality of the connection doesn't drop.

I still have spots at home where the connection is poor, so hoping the 12 solves this issue.
