Once apple order changes to shipped - I am cancelling my amazon order which is expected on 14th.

I don't know why I bother checking for updates. For the last couple of years Vodafone hasn't changed the status to dispatched even when I'm holding the phone in my hand.

Nothing to explain, go to something like Quidco or TopCashback and click through to Currys to get a percentage back.
The 8% will be an employee discount on purchases of Currys giftcards. Lots of big employers are parts of these schemes.
