BREAKING NEWS: An insider from the White House has leaked that Eric Trump phoned Dixons Carphone Chief Executive Alex Baldock in a fit of rage as their subsidiary Currys PC World were supposed to screw up delivery of the latest Apple iPhones today.
A source familiar with the situation claims that Donald J. Trump's third child more than expressed how difficult this was going to make life for those close to the incumbent President as a crack team had planned to name Currys PC World as 2020's "biggest loser" for failing to deliver Cupertino's iPhone 12 Pro Max and Mini's today, thus helping the senior Trump save face.
Eric allegedly threatened to sue Alex Baldock for the "obvious fraud" that was committed to ensure that phones were actually delivered on time, and said he'd sue Baldock's "ass right up to the Supreme Court where we are owed favors [SIC] by certain justices".
Baldock initially thought this was a wind-up call from Dixons Carphone Chairman Lord Ian Livingston, but quickly realised that the call was real and there were no hints of Livington's dulcet tones trying to put on an American accent. Apparently, when Baldock asked Trump if he knew that Currys PC World was a UK retailer not under the jurisdiction of US courts, the line went quiet and then hung up.
(Sorry, couldn't resist. A bit of light heartedness whilst I await DPD!)
