And all done. Had a quick chat with the DHL driver and asked how busy it’s been. Said they didn’t know about the iPhones till late as they have all been busy with Xbox’s and PS5s

DPD app is strange (yet interesting whilst waiting for my phone).
Lewis (aka Luke) had made 270k+ and has worked for DPD for 1 year. By my calculations, assuming he works 6 days a week, thats 833 deliveries a DAY! Considering Lewis (aka Luke) started his round at 9am, lets just say he works until 6pm, take off 30 mins lunch, that's a 8.5 hour day, that means he delivers a parcel less then every two minutes!
I take back my comments on him putting the pedal to the metal, this guy is an absolute shire horse! He needs to slow down a little!
Interesting fact: Lewis (aka Luke) is from England and his favourite tune is Usher - Whats my name?
Lewis when he delivers my phone today is clearly going to throw it at me and shout 'whats my name, b!tch?'
How long do orders stay at preparing to ship?
I ordered 9 Nov for 19 Nov delivery (and order status says 19 Nov - preparing to ship).
Apple Online Store today shows the same phone if ordered today would deliver on 17 Nov and is available for pickup now at my local Apple Store.

For some weird reason only some with DHL will. I can’t either in the past when I’ve had DHL mines from through a local carrier

Same. They are awful here too. I think the problem is they're not really DHL proper as such - they left the UK consumer market years ago, but then took over UK Mail (and then rebranded) - which were always useless anyway.

Don't know whats going on with DHL tracking today, so far this morning I've had:
Delayed with a new date of 16th
In depot
Out for delivery
and now its back in the delivery depot.
I suspect all of which is complete lies, because I have another parcel due with DHL today too (a Watch strap) which has remained firmly sat in the depot with today's delivery date the entire time.
I just wish they'd provide some sort of reliable information so I know whether I need to go and grab one from a store instead...
