128gb 12 Pro ordered for store pick up next Saturday morning.

delivery for launch day was looking good until it was pushed back a week while I was going through the motions.

I’ll take the 50 mile round trip as opposed to waiting.
 
Managed to get my order in for the 23rd.. But why is it every time I try and use Apple Pay on the phone it says my address is wrong. IT ISN'T WRONG !
 
Got the graphite 256GB Pro due next Friday and my wife went for the gold 256GB Pro also due next Friday.

Basically this. I just missed out on delivery on launch day due to the same issue. Nothing wrong with my address, but the App insisted it was invalid.
 
Finally! 12Pro Pacific Blue for collection in Edinburgh store next Saturday.

Stock didn't seem good for the Blue, shipping dates slipped within 1 minute of the pre order going live.
 
Ordered a 256GB 12 Pro in Blue, delivery next Fri. Email confirmation at 13:02.
Also then ordered a magsafe charger and case, arriving on Wednesday.

Managed to get an in-store pickup on Saturday morning at 9:15am - 128gb Pro Graphite

Once the pain of the last 30 minutes has been I will feel kind of okay about being 12 hours behind everyone...... it is not the end of the world haha.

Saturday 24th.... NEW PHONE DAY.

Really? I'm trying to complete my preorder for the past 20 minutes and keep on getting Error messages...
Sadly, I find it reliable for the first couple of minutes of the store opening. I know its annoying that for the lucky few that get in for the first couple of minutes but yeah I can't order a MagSafe charger at the moment so the store has taken a big hit.

Yep and it did the same thing last time as well.. My address is not wrong I should know...

I ended up pay by Credit Card instead..

What a mess. Had my order all set up yesterday as a saved/favourite item in the app for when the store went live. Got as far as the checkout, went to pay with Apple Pay, and it decides my billing and delivery address are invalid. Tried editing them, checking the postcode etc, all absolutely spot on.

Eventually gave up and jumped onto the PC and managed to get the order through on there, without changing any of my linked cards details.

Delivery date had already slipped to 28th Oct - 2 Nov by then, pretty disappointed at that.
I had issues like this before when I ordered the X. Plus a large order, it didn't go through as my bank thought something fishy was happening. Luckily managed to sort it out. This time round, I transfered my money to my Monzo account and everything went smoothly with that.

Managed to get in just after posting - finally. Ordered a 128 Pro in Graphite. Delivery has slipped to 2 - 9 Nov though...

Shame they made you go through the App if you wanted to pre-arrange finance!
