Again, we say this every year with regards to CPW, Currys, Very and Argos.Carphone warehouse are even worse than I thought possible.
I placed an order for an PM 256GB on pre order Friday; I got a mail confirming my order and delivery date of 22ndSeptember. I then got a mail 2 hours later stating an delivery date in November. They had already taken my money immediately.
I called customer service to cancel and spent 30 mins on hold to be transferred to Sales; that went to a prerecorded message saying they were too busy to take calls. I called customer service back, after 40 minutes I was promised I would be transferred directly to a sales team member and of course just got the same recorded message. I have called them multiple times a day, every single day for 5 days now and not gotten past the too busy to answer recorded message.
In the mean time I have mailed every day requesting a refund and not heard back, not even an auto generated acknowledgement mail. Nothing.
They have taken £1200 from me on false pretences and for a week I have not been able to communicate with them in any way. I’m pretty sure this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced; how are they still in business?
Can’t think of anything worse than trying to sell a phone on Facebook!MM kiosks are open till 10pm so I think I may go down there tomorrow evening and get the money for mine and my wife’s phone instead of waiting till Saturday.
Put them on Facebook marketplace this evening and I’m getting hammered by scammers and di**heads wanting them posted or to collect for a stupid price.

Its always a huge risk if you want launch day delivery, despite them initially saying launch day delivery.

I have a feeling it was from the day after the launch - any left over phones became available for pickup and then going forward with deliveries. It was faster than ordering a new one online.
That is what I’m waiting for as I missed my pre-order for a launch day phone for the first time in 15 years…

At national hub, still it has to be delivered at our local depot. Hopefully by morning it will be with local depot
I had to contact argos and yodel today via live chat to get tracking number. They both gave it to me.For those with Argos orders, have you received tracking numbers? All I have is a message when I log in saying it’ll be delivered tomorrow.
Thanks. I think it's safe to say I will be lol. I've really enjoyed reading everyone's excitement and experiences from past launch days (I'll admit I'm excited too). As I said earlier my 15 Pro will be with me Saturday, but just had an email from DPD confirming they'll be delivering my Ultra 2 tomorrow!
