Email this afternoon to say my (same initial ship date as yours - thanks apple preorder site!) arrives Monday!
Hello - ordered both a Natural and Blue Pro Max 256GB, decided I prefer the Nat colour so have a Blue that I don't need. Before I return to Argos, if anyone wants to buy off me, i'm happy to sell for cost price (£1200). I am based in Glasgow area. Feel free to reply or DM on here. Cheers
Same here, Barclays finance loan and shows as no longer eligible for return. Very strange, as by law you should have 10 days to change your mind online and Apple are usually very good at accepting returns.
Is it though? It's been paid for but still at processing. I don't want to get all the way there for them to turn me away.
But I haven't got a QR code I don't think. Just the email saying the order has been placed and it's appearing in my orders, but still at processing.
You will receive an email with instructions on how to check in and a QR code. Someone has to physically go to their stock room and assign one of the devices to your order. The stock should already be there though.
When you look at it via the Apple store app does it say when you press on it you can add the pass to your apple wallet?
I would just wait for the email in this case. I didn’t get mine till 12:55am

It seems like Regent Street showed some stock at midnight. There are some 512gb blue ones in pro max sizes
Answering my own question! I went to Currys on Old Kent Road earlier this evening and they had the regular 15, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max on display. I had a play with them but they were solidly locked down so I couldn't pick them up and get a really good feel of them. The Pro was blue which I am interested in but I had no chance to move it around and see how the light bounces of it due to the restricted movement.
Hi all! Long time lurker and annual upgrader, I’ve read every page! Went Pro Max size for the first time since the 6S plus and loving it. Wondering if anyone else is seeing excessive storage usage by either apps or system data in iOS 17? I had 30gb of it pre switch to the new phone but it’s now in the 50gb+ territory. When I upgraded my 14 pro I had to offload and reload a few apps that appeared to get out of hand, just wondering if anyone else’s looks the same. Not sure if it’s normal after an iCloud restore or if something in mine has gone wrong.

Had an email from Amazon overnight saying they had refunded my payment for the Mujjo case because of a problem with the MagSafe bit. I was actually going to return it anyway so nice little bonus
You won’t when you’ve had your identity stolen and they’ve used a deepfake ai lookalike to verify and taken out a loan in your name
But in seriousness, measures like this are needed because fraud does happen and they need to protect their customers.
Keep an eye out this morning up u til the time stores start opening.. stock can pop up.
Inventory watch app is good to do the leg work for you.
Depends on the part: a lot of them are locked to the specific logic board in the phone so won’t work if you transfer them to another phone unless you recode them with Apple’s official software tool, so it’s not as simple as just pulling e.g. the camera or display out of one phone and sticking it in another one. The right to repair guys have been complaining about that for ages, there have been several stories on here about it. Makes it harder to break down stolen phones and sell the parts I would have thought.
