What will you use the phone for and do you shoot alot of video?
More photos than video. Currently using 176gb of a 256gb capacity. That is made up of 54gb of music (which will only go up), 38gb of photos with the rest being messages, apps etc

That is over 7000 photos over the last five years (don’t think I’ve ever deleted any!), so a lot of it is laziness of not deleting them when I back them up. Which I could easily do really

Got feel is 256gb is enough but planning on keeping the phone four years, so don’t want to sell myself short. £200 extra is quite a bit tho if I don’t really need it

so lots of questions so let me try summarise:

Pre-Pre Orders
Should happen later this evening (the last few years its been after 11pm closer to midnight) - don't wait up you'll be able to do it tomorrow or Thursday too. Just don't leave it till Friday, the store will go down and you won't be able to do so

Pre-Orders
1pm on Friday 15th.

Launch
Friday 22nd

Finally decided to buy the clear case, I used the 4.5% vouchers through perk box as a dry run for Friday. It seemed easy enough, thinking about changing out of my apple pay ways.

Was going to wait for the thread to die down abit before asking about this

how is it using vouchers/giftcards? Found out today I can get the 5% one through work

Im guessing though you would need to click checkout instead of 'pay with Apple Pay' and then go through that way...with the risk of you losing a potential day 1 delivery by the time it compltees

might do what you have done and buy a case using it to see how smooth it goes..

This is my only worry, loosing out on day one by being too slow.

It is. It’s the one I’ve gone for, although I seem to recall them offering a discount code in the days prior to launch in previous years
I had the Armorite for my 13 Pro Max, but last year went for the Spigen AlignMaster.

Just placed an order for the Armorite.

Ah man I don’t know if I should get this or not I have the 13 Pro Max and there is really nothing wrong with it but I am seriously tempted

Is it possible to do the pre-pre order thing if you're on the Upgrade Program?

If you value the and use all all your storage - which you clearly do, then 512GB will be worth if you like access to all your file locally. £200 isn’t little but it’s cheaper to buy more storage than to reset not buying enough and having to sell the phone.
