Hoping to get a 16 Plus on the weekend. My first time getting a ‘big’ iPhone. Coming from the 13Pro. There are so many ‘minor’ upgrades coming together to make this a really exciting upgrade for me.

I made the mistake of going for the 14 plus from the 11pm, I know it's £300 more between the plus and the max but it has always bugged me I didn't go for the 14pm. This time im going all out with the 16pm, I get 128gb more ssd, bigger battery and a whole 0.2" bigger screen lol.

My 14 plus is £300 trade in by apple so its costing me just as much as a 16 plus
 
I got excited when I saw arrives tomorrow then I realised its gone past midnight lol.

Yes. Every year I toy with ordering from Apple and then I end up back with them and swear it'll be the last time. I didn't take much notice of the price until it was too late.

IMO the 16PM benefit is in cameras and promotion. The negative is the weight, cost and boring colours.

Cameras - I’m not a photographer really, the Pro system has now become overkill for my uses

Screen refresh - I’ve limited my Pro to 60Hz and honestly can’t tell the difference.

I think the differences between the Pro and base lineup this year is less than previous. I’m happy with having a lighter ‘big’ phone with a lot same features for less money in a fun colour.

I do think there’s less compromise between the base and Pro lineup this year though, so it’s not comparable to previous generations.

IMO the PM this year is too heavy, my 13Pro is at the top end of weight I’m comfortable with using. 16Plus is slightly lighter than my 13Pro but the 16PM is quite a bit heavier.

I’m a bit concerned now, my tracking now says 1-2 weeks. Last night it said Friday.

Does yours say anything?
 
Got my DPD notification. First time in a few years I have DPD delivering rather than DHL.

It’s petty, but if they’ve actually delayed delivery the day before it should have been delivered I might just cancel.

I definitely wouldn’t have ordered and paid a premium to Vodafone if it wasn’t going to be a launch day delivery. Feel a bit conned.

I’ve messaged support to see if it’s actually true or a mistake
