Haha. Just set up camp outside the depot and throw rocks at any delivery drivers who come into the depot before tomorrow?

You seem very positive about that. Have you got a hotline to someone special or do you mean the conversation you had with one person.

Look, I want my iPad as much as everyone else, but I'm being realistic.

People here want so much to believe that their iPads will arrive tomorrow that they will always find a reason as to why it will come, despite conventional wisdom really pointing to Friday.

It's annoying when someone says they won't get here, but the likelihood is that no one will get them before Friday, regardless of shipping dates on various websites (including Apple's)
I concede that a few lucky ones may slip through the net and boy, I wish I were one of them, but I don't think I will be.

I just happen to think that people need to be prepared to receive them Friday and not get overly excited about tomorrow.

On the TNT UK tracker it said to call them for the status, the International TNT tracker shows it as in Nuneaton.

Anyway I called and he says it is going to be delivered tomorrow and that it has come from Apple in the UK so fingers crossed!

Well as the OP was thinking I was going to get it a day early, not a chance as in Arnhem at the mo LOL

Yeah, mine is in the same batch as yours as you probably know from earlier posts.

We cant tell when they have left Arnhem, which means there is still a small chance we could get them tomorrow, but much less likely that we will compared to many other people on this thread.

Im just happy to be reasonably sure I will get it by Friday, really didnt want to go the bank holiday weekend without it, which at one point I had started preparing myself for considering the delays our ipads, which left the facotry before many others, have suffered.

Employees of TNT say it ships tomorrow. Apple site says tomorrow.
I'm not sure it's going to be tomorrow but I think it is much more likely.

The big iPad launch was in the US and now people know the device, no need to have that "one day".

If everyone at TNT was wrong they would prepare for the wrong day wouldn't they?

Given how many peple have now been told Thursday, I think you have the balance slightly wrong.

Certainly not everyone is going to get theirs tomorrow, for example its fairly likely I wont, but we cant really tell how many people will, potentially its quite a large percentage of the people posting here.

It's Coming!!!

I think it's pretty fair to say that my iPad is coming tomorrow!

First off the apple website tracking is back up and running.

Secondly, the estimated delivery date has changed from the 28th to the 27th on the apple website.

And thirdly, i've just checked the TNT UK tracking and it was in transit from Nuneaton at 15:15 so by now, i would have thought it would be very close to me.

Oh, so near and yet so far:rolleyes:

Good info from TNT

I got some great info from the TNT representative.

Mine's coming via TNT Express. Deliveries for Before 9, 10 and 12 (i.e. not us) are usually made before 11.30am, then after this the rest of the deliveries are made. This is likely to mean that the delivery will come in the afternoon.

Depots are open all the time, and my shipment is on its way from Nuneaton to Bermondsey, likely to arrive around 2am. She said I could go to the depot after 7.30am to pick it up myself and she would inform the depot. She said I should call the depot first to make sure it actually was there and hadn't been placed on a van.

Mine is in that 15.15 Nuneaton batch and coming to my depot in Southampton which is a 2hr 40min drive so i think it should be at my depot by now?

All you people who have been calling TNT - has anyone asked whether it is possible to get any indication of when in the day the delivery is likely to be?

I know that some couriers say to call on the morning of delivery, once they've got the loading manifests for all the local vans, and at that point they are willing to give you some idea of whether your package is towards the beginning, middle or end of the route so at least if (for instance) they tell you that your package is at the end of the route you know it's not going to arrive at 8:00am. I'm not sure if TNT are willing to do this.

I haven't called TNT yet because my tracking still shows the package in Arnhem so I have no indication that a delivery tomorrow is possible although I'm hopeful. Some people are showing as already at Nuneaton but also someone posted about them coming by road and clearing customs at about 7pm tonight. I wonder if the ones destined for the midlands and the north were flown, hence are already here, and the ones for the south have been driven and so expected later this evening. This would make economic sense for TNT I think.

You've made your point and people that are hoping to get their iPad tomorrow are probably enjoying themselves here, if they don't turn up tomorrow then they'll at least only have to wait until the following day.

What's the point of you keeping on? If you don't like it don't read this thread. I believe it'll be here Friday but I'm not going to come here and p*ss on everyones parade. Let them enjoy it.

That's pretty much what I've just been told as well :)

I'm in the Midlands and I'm still in Netherlands :(

Well I would not bet on getting it tomorrow but it is certainly still possible. Yours might be with mine, if it said it was at Arnhem at about 2PM their time today. WhenI noticed this update,I did a test using TNTs general estimated delivery times thing, and it is possible for a parcel starting at Arnhem at 3PM today to be delivered in the UK tomorrow.

So retain hope, but be quite ready not to get it till Friday.

As for the Nuneaton ones that are now dominating this thread, its unclear if these are ones that have come from China or if they are the ones that started in the UK and only just started showing up at all in the tracking system.

Is there anybody out there whose ipads came from HK but reached Arnhem in the early hours of last night, rather than this afternoon, to give us an update on what your latest tracking info says?

Okay, I just got home from work...
...anyone else's UPS showing "delivery by 26th" which is today?

Whilst in reality I'm not expecting it this evening, it really is confusing and one hell of a poor product launch. So much confusion, I've never remembered so much difficulty with tracking a delivery.
