So to collect from a TNT depot, do you just ring them up and give them your tracking number, and say you want to collect it yourself?

Ugh, I've been up working all night and what you've effectively done is made me want to stay up until the TNT man makes his rounds (normally in the late AM) ;)

Do you have a time for when it became "Out for Delivery" Stupid people at Stansted depot are too lazy mine still says in transit :(

Something like that! I rang my local depot last night when I was unable to get through on the 0800 number off their website. The guy on the phone told me they were expecting the shipment at approx 4am so I rang at 5 this morning and they put my boxes aside for me.

Currently typing this on my iPad and have decided to leave the MacBook at home for my trip :)

Seeing as the Force is strongly pointing to a delivery today I've brought forward my schedule and will be wearing my Exploded iPad t-shirt today instead of tomorrow...

Still not showing as out for delivery from Stansted yet though, but there's plenty of time for that to change.

mine is in stansted too! Maybe they have loads of iPads there to prepare seeing as they probably deliver to a lot of London. I'm west london what about you?

Yes. Though i was told to email also, they said it was an Apple security requirement :confused:

I havent had a reply to that email, so i can only hope that it will be held for collection.

I'll probably call again before i leave the house

Well I would say at a guess, its been a logistics nightmare, what we thinking?, 250.000+ aiming for a specific day, and with a bank holiday approaching, I'm guessing there getting them out as they get there, don't forget guys also, TNT/UPS, aint just apples delivery people, they do actually do other stuff to, lol.
So yup, I think they have no preference over any other delivery by a company.

So guys, its been bloody good fun, so I for one in case I dont gt back on here today..good luck to everyone, and enjoy what should be a great day....good times guys, :D


Oh and get them cameras ready, lol, i for one will be doing an unboxing, sad I know but it's for my gaming podcast/site
 
Anybody else still have the Northampton update? I seriously hope they haven't messed mine up! Supposed to be in London

UPS and TNT were overwhelmed with the number of iPads they had to deliver so Apple authorised for them to deliver a day early
