I've spent £35 on apps btw... :p I'm so excited!!!

But here's where I'm confused:

27 May 2010 07:09:26 Worcester Shipment Received At Destination Depot.
27 May 2010 06:42:10 Worcester Shipment Received At Destination Depot.
27 May 2010 02:26:51 Worcester Out For Delivery.
26 May 2010 20:28:00 KG4 Shipment Received At Transit Point.

Mine went out for delivery before it arrived at the depot?...

I'm expecting the delivery from TNT today and the wife to deliver a baby TODAY. Waters broke last night.

I just need a window between the contractions to nip over to work and pick it up when it arrives. ;)

Hey, at least you'll never forget your child's birthday!;)

"i got my iPad one year ago today so it must be their birthday today too!"

Me and the wife love scrabble so that's an essential purchase.

Funny thing is that i have developed 4 apps for the device that have been on sale since US launch but i haven't yet been able to use them myself hahaha.

Your in Cheshire, not far from me! I'll race you :)

I've sent mine to my partners workplace as UPS are crap at finding my flat - he's already spoken to the UPS driver yesterday to let him know it's due!

They came at 9.30am yesterday, so it'll probably be 4.55 or similar today! No I must look at the positives - it's more exciting than the iPhone, or is that just because it's new and the latest thing is always the most exciting?

MY STATUS HAS CHANGED !!!

Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 27 May 2010 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status Out for Delivery 27 May 2010

Its coming today Baaabby :)

Giving out the delivery van GPS coordinates on new Apple product day is tantamount to posting a huge "please rob me" sign.

Although if I were a near-do-well with a balaclava and a shotgun I might be more inclined to try and target the shipping containers.

(UPS from Dewsbury depot here. Decided to work from home today)

Place your bets, what's going to happen first? A report of a delivered iPad or 100 pages to this thread?

When I had a TNT man here the other week to collect a MBP he told me that all Apple collections and deliveries happen between 1pm-5pm, as stipulated by Apple. I waited in all morning for him, and he even said I should have been told it would be the afternoon - he had been near my house in the morning too!

Congrats! You have an amazing day in store for you! :) All the best! ;)

Update for me: got through to UPS, she said it will be tomorrow for me 'because it is two packages', whatever difference she thinks that will make  safe to say that she was just giving me a line.

Oh well, just another joy of living in the backass of nowhere I guess. :(

Argggghhhh! I'm not sure I can last until 1pm! I might have to find some work to do, to keep me occupied until it arrives.

I wish we had a web-cam to view the front of the building, to see the courier trucks that arrive and leave :(

I just spoke to my local UPS distribution centre (Gateshead) and my postcode means it will be an afternoon delivery, despite me living about 10 minutes from the depot! I CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER :(

another update from me...

TNT UK tracking = "Please call"
TNT International Tracking = 26 May 2010 20:18:00 KG4 Shipment Received At Transit Point.
Apple UK tracking = 26 May 2010 In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule (Est.Delivery - 27 May 2010)

I'm trying to not get my hopes up that my iPad comes today. BUT trying to keep my faith in Apple that it will be delivered today + TNT Int. was last updated last night. So it's likely that my iPad has moved in the last 12+ hours

We will see :)

All you londoners with UPS should have it listed as out for delivery now I assume. Mine left Tamworth yesterday and as of 4am has been listed as out for delivery today in London!

GATESHEAD, GB 27/05/2010 8:08 OUT FOR DELIVERY
27/05/2010 6:42 DESTINATION SCAN
TAMWORTH, GB 27/05/2010 0:32 DEPARTURE SCAN
TAMWORTH, GB 26/05/2010 18:56
ORIGIN SCAN GB 26/05/2010 4:17 BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED

Looking good. UPS here. Didn't have a destination scan originally just an "Out for delivery" one. Until I saw both a destination scan and then an out for delivey one with a decent leaving time for the van I wasn't convinced I'd get it today. Pretty confident now ;)

It is more exciting than the iPhone!!!

Its like having a small ice cream and then going to the beach and having a massive ice cream with all the toppings and get this....... 2.... YES 2 Flakes!

Hey, at least you'll never forget your child's birthday!;)

More to the point, you'll never forget its warranty expiry date.

TNT UK tracker says mine is Out For Delivery (Bristol) - come to Daddy :D :D :D :D :apple:

Probably on the same truck as mine! I got a second Out For Delivery at 07:23:52 (the first being at 02:43:01), so looks like they remembered to load both boxes on the truck.

Wouldn't that be awful: a TNT van appears and delivers a large brown box containing an O2 micro SIM, and says "The iPad's due tomorrow, mate."

Fire alarms, alarm clocks, police sirens are all a distant sound to that compared of a diesel truck on delivery day.

I swear I can hear every diesel engine in a 5 mile radius. Why don't these things have GPS tracking on them !

I know the feeling.

Thinking of moving from the office at the back of the flat to the front room with my iMac, so I can listen to the traffic.

I feel 10 years old. I've not been this excited for a very long time. Even waiting for the 27" iMac was clam, collected and adult like compared to this.

Jonny, can you go get it from the depot???

I bet my iPad on this thread hitting 100 pages first. There's no way I'll get it anytime this morning.. I'm always left til last in deliveries.

Another Croydon depot here - also out for delivery. Last thing I had delivered by TNT came a shade before 5, and I'm relying on that again as I've a busy morning at work... but I will be arranging to work from home this afternoon :D

I've actively moved the "I'll put this off get it done later but must get it done jobs" to the first slot of the day. I'm hoping no customers have critical issues with their systems either.

This thread has actually allowed me to keep my sanity knowing others have a lot less :D
